I ride a 2020 Epic. I bought the bike new during lockdown and Ive been itching the past year to upgrade. I honestly can’t fault the bike,It’s been absolutely flawless and I can’t find a reason to upgrade. At the time,I had a fairly new Rekon race at the back and decided to try to wing the Aspen at the front…I am honestly very happy with the grip…

Ive seen quite a few bikes with them as OEM from the showroom floor…perhaps a factor? I ride one on the back with a Aspen front, I have to say,The Aspen has impressed me..

Did a grade 3 in 2020, After seeing two specialist's, both advised not to operate. The only real irritation is sleeping…. I find it weakens faster when not trained for a while, you almost have to keep training it with gym work or resistance training.

I would be careful buying one of these “low offer” bikes…

My colleague recently listed his bike here. He bought it for R90k about four years ago, advertised it for R43k, and got an offer of just R17k from Bike Market. He clearly didn't go for it, but it made me wonder—do some guys actually fall for those low-ball offers? They must, right? Otherwise, why even try?

Similar ,but mine is perhaps in the early stages leading up to yours. According to the LBS,6 cracks all together.

The wheel is at the bike shop, I might be able to the pics from them. They are thin cracks next to the nipples…

Just an update,my Crest mk4’s have cracked , Submitting a warranty claim through LBS.

It’s becoming very hard to trust people in general these days.

Hi Jannie, a 29” would be a better buy and Dual suspension would be better with your back,but if you intend to tar/gravel riding mostly,a 29” hard tail would be fine.

I ride one of these, great bike, quite a bit faster than my MTB, but it does not enjoy offroad much..
