btw, tried opera which does seem very quick, but I could not log onto my bank account so uninstalled it very quickly.

Ok, I battled last night and this morning to uninstall Firefox and nothing. I searched for a solution and it was quite simple. I re-installed Firefox and it seems that for some reason the previous install had a problem. It seems to be working much better now. I have the new AVG9 installed and it has not caused any problems. What I do is, disable the firewall & all other add-ons and test the speed.If it is still slow then it is not AVG. So all those using Firefox, I suggest you re-install. just switched to Chrome and my internet is flying!!

Interesting~!! My firefox was extremely slow and I experienced a similar problem to yours. I almost uninstalled it and downloaded chrome. seems a bit better now!

Not sure what you are asking. If it is FD then go X-9 as it will work better with sram's 1:1 actaution. If it is a crank you asking about, then XT will be you best bet!

coenie, we are all adults as you can only get a drivers license at the age of 18. I am the first to agree that law enforcement is non-existent and the caliber of traffic officers leaves a lot to be desired. However, we are not babies and need to be baby 'sitted' by traffic officials. We need to act responsibly and have a conscience and, yes, this goes to all forms of traffic on the roads, not just cyclists. The bottom line is that if we all can respect the laws of the road then this will be a better place for us all and it starts with ourselves!!
