Ratty, Yep definitely something wrong!! I think it is a memory access problem! I have run programs to try and fix it and it all seems fine and then it still crashes. I have decided to buy a new laptop at month end and 'terminate' the current one.

Thuggie, that sounds like a plan!! However, will Quickbooks work with this OS? What about printer drivers etc.? This is the 2nd crash in 6 months!!!

Kori, that is definitely worse!! Managed to save data and sort out Windows at about 06h20 this morning. Only had about an 1.1/2 hrs sleep. My sincerest apologies to my riding/training buddy for me not pitching-up for our ride!! soorrreeeeeee!!!
