  1. pH is recorded 0 - 14. From 7 - 0 its regarded as acidic. upwards is Alkaline. Powasol is 11 - 12, NO Acid and a LOW Alkaline , most water based degreaser have a pH of 13 - 14 which means high in alkaline which means more chance of corrosion if not rinsed thouroughly
  2. forgiven... it's so difficult with all this sillicone products around.. which have the mistical POWERS or make you STRONG. or IONS out your problems
  3. ag NO maaaaaaaannn the band must say LIVESTRONG not powerbalance.... and if it was powerbalance you probably bought Yellow , the ones from AUSSIE market.. cause there the court has found it as a fraud..
  4. what i did notice was the refference to this chopper... whooop whoop i like yellow gotta love the TT helmet gastank
  5. i give them credit for actually being open... most suppliers are still on break
  6. NOW... will it me on a mtb or road? make sure the cage you put on there hold your bottles firmly.. no use if a full bottle hops out on a rough trail early on your ride.. i lost so many bottles on the pioneer out of fancy carbon cages.. even the specialized cages i swear by have lost some bottles
  7. was my thoughts exactly... but worthy exchange... both are good tires
  8. i love solutions like that! just one question.. was there not a reason the original looked like it did... seems like it was designed to have flex?
  9. JA/nee imagine that.. let's gooi a powermeter on there to make it legal... hence some pros riding alu bars
  10. וְאָהַבְתָּ, אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, בְּכָל-לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל-נַפְשְׁךָ, וּבְכָל-מְאֹדֶךָ.
  11. every year i anticipate the tweets from this ride and every year i wish i was not in retail grafting while you okes played
  12. i like your bike. i struggled to find bars that were wide enough. eventually bought a Specialized carbon at 680 wide.. now i can go narrower as i choose
  13. it's not called a macbook AIR for nothing... or nike AIR jordans... airplane... aerosol cans... GET the message?
  14. i like these suggestions... taking notes. i have sold quite a bit of stuff and quite amazed at the trust people have to put on you when paying for goodies on the other side of the country... i do my best to make it worth the nervousness the buyer goes through
  15. WELCOME to the hub i think you spoke to soon... seeing you are both new to the hub... you maybe both have something to learn. seems the seller did not run but maybe had another buyer for wheels and fork. from experience if you have a good deal LOTS of guys contact you and it is difficult to keep track of interrested parties / serious buyers or browsers..
  16. Time will tell... hope you find your answers though..
  17. NOT saying you cannot do it.. just RESPECT.. the concern is more the combination of a brick run... on trail after a mtb effort on SS. just do some brick sessions ie.. bike run bike run off the single speed steed
  18. you have balls... of steel.. wondering how this legs will feel on the run
  19. i have no problem with said opinion ... but does the messenger have to come across so agressively... and i dont think beginners or even majority of SA rider do TRAIL riding... we are a marathon cultureon mostly farm roads jeep tracka and flowing singletrack? so we want to look like the RACERS the have long stems casue they can touch their toes
  20. but Tankman does not like Crampy?
  21. Planet X stuff ROCK!! they choose their suppliers well. i find some carbon clinchers and tyre types a NIGHTMARE to seat or get the beading over which in turn will casue you an eternity next to the road when getting a puncture during the ride
  22. i applaud your positive manner in this RANT... can be sooooooo frustrating and sadly predictable hey?
  23. @RiverRat you are in the pefect position to make the call yourself with your own past experience and actions as customer and also management. you had vented your frustration towards the bike wash dudes at sabie on a public forum which in turn was greeted with a response i think was neither good from consumer or provider point of view. as a small retail business owner i would also like to be made aware of short comings.. but it makes it embarrasing when somebody rants in public about their experience. often things are said out of frustration and out of context which can be far more damaging than just loosing one customer... if your business is small enough to reply (in a patient and tactfull manner) to individual enquiries then go for it. but if it is not going to respond in time or at all... why go through the process? a business like Powasol which is one man owned stand to loose a WHOLE lot more from a skewed perception and lack of patience and resulting slandering than a big corporate
  24. who told you i wanted a santa cruz highball?... geez nobody can keep a secret
