  1. Nope, all carbon from here
  2. Hi all. Selling a new Pyga OneTen Frame for 16k. Advert is in the classifieds section of this site, under frames. Cheers, Craig 0833789802
  3. My CB Mallet E's arrive tomorrow for my OneTen trail bike. Apparently the E's address a lot of problems from CB's past. Will have to wait n see. Always loved the XT trail pedals, but they can be a mission when its muddy, which is something the CB's excell at. The new E's are getting good reviews and i needed new pedals, thus trying out the E's. Word of warning, they dont come cheap. Via CRC and sent DHL, they around R3k all in. vs XT Trails which are freely available locally at less than half that.
  4. Wiely, where did you get the 150mm KS Lev from? Thanks, Craig
  5. My 2015 Reign 1x10 Reverb DaBomb 45mm Stem and Grips MRP Chain Guide and Bash Guard Magic Mary / Onza Ibex combo WTB HighTail perch
  6. Where can we get our hands on these? I need a white one.
  7. Some cool new DaBomb products in stock at Good2Go Cycles in Pinetown! Threw some new grips and a perch on the OneTen!
  8. Tall dude on a L Pascoe or is it just the pic that makes the bike look a little dwarfed?
  9. @IH8MUD....Bad question :-) but its light enough to go uphill and heavy enough to go downhill.....or visa versa!
  10. Ha ha...Yeah, but everything has already been upgraded (at least once). Only thing i would ever change now are the stoppers. The Elixar 7's are really good, apart from the warbling, but if they ever explode, i might go XT. Ps: If any of you are interested, i bought the Pike through DubbelBuys on the site, and all was great. If you can wait a few weeks, his service is thoroughly recommended and saved a small fortune. Also bought the 32 front ring and 40 Casette Expander from Kalbo. Great service, price and the parts look and feel good. Time will tell regarding longevity. Also felt great to support local, instead of throwing more money at big brands!
  11. Fooled around a lot spec wise, on this bike over the years, and finally got my OneTen to a point where i'm totally stoked. Project complete....for good!
  12. Spot on Merida!! The One-Sixty 7 - 900 is competing agaisnt some stiff competition price wise, but the One-Sixty 7 - 700 is unbeatable value with those specs. Not much left to upgrade on that bike at all. Fork and shock are fantastic!
  13. Makes you think what it would have scored if they had thrown on some proper Flows in place of the Crests!
  14. AMS Frame Guard looks pretty mint on a OneTen! Breaks the frame up a bit :-)
  15. I put FlowEX on my Pyga One Ten a few months back. Love the width, combined with my 2.25 Ardent LUST's, and will be even better when i pop a 2.4 on the front :-)
  16. Classic Chirp!
  17. I placed a decent sized order with CRC on Tuesday, DHL Express. Goods arrived this a.m just after 8. Thats pretty world class in anyone's books. They are a totally systems driven business so there shouldn't be much room for issue, provided duties etc are settled asap. I've had major issues and long waits when using the snail mail option, so pretty much happy to splash out on DHL Express, plus, waiting for bike stuff sucks!
  18. I recently completed a Hope 1x10 conversion (including a 40t casette ring), and it came to considerably more. Somewhere around R4500. Went XT for RD and Casette with a good chain. A mate of mine did his some time back, with a mix of parts, an existing casette etc and he's really battled. Hell of a noisy and terrible shift. My 2c is that its worth dropping some extra loot if possible, and getting the best specs available or the simplicity etc of the 1x is negated!
  19. Replaced my worn and outdated 3x drivetrain on my Yeti 2 weeks back, to a Hope 32t front ring with a 11/36 casette and a Hope 40t-rex. Absolutely fantastic. 2 hard rides around Giba and didn't struggle for gearing on the climbs. All in all, just a simple, hassle free solution. Great shift through-out the range and piss to clean. Cant wait for my drivetrain on my Pyga to show some signs of wear so i can do the same on her.
  20. Good one....either way, sign me up! In fact, a whole Enduro series would go down great!
  21. Nigel, would be great to have another Enduro. Why mess with a winning formula however? Perhaps throw in a few challenges but to try emulate full blown European Enduro will simply cut your numbers right down. It was awesome to see ladies, kids and inexperienced riders all giving it a go. I fear that if you had to start pushing the envelope too far, youll simply alienate a whole stack of people.
  22. Who is running that special? Have a mate looking for a new bike? Thanks, Craig
  23. Stretch the bars, cut the stem, drop the seat.....BANG
  24. Awesome awesome awesome event! Thanks so much to everyone involved. Nothing on the annual MTB calendar compares! More Enduro please! Only thing that I would have done differently would be to combine the Giba Market (that took place yesterday) to the same day as the Enduro, or visa versa. Would have guaranteed a massive crowd at the finish and some entertainment for the wives and kids that weren't riding!
  25. The more you ride one of these, the more you appreciate just how capable they are. I also ride a 140mm Yeti ASR5, which you would think would be more capable for an Enduro setup, but taking the OneTen down the same trails, just blows me away!
