I'm hoping the Win against the Magpies will be the catalyst us gooners have all been waiting for. Good that the others whom have been going through a drought got on the scoreboard too. With Liverpool, Spurs, City and Leicester all still to come we needed this W

Whereas, Merc team had a similar attitude as the Ineos people“. https://www.essentiallysports.com/f1-news-arrogant-f1-team-pushed-ineos-to-mercedes-for-multi-year-deal/

Eish that doesn't sound promising Very true but i feel that is more down to the team than him carrying the team, like a Kane or Aubameyang does. There is a reason Chelsea have only used him 5 times this season even though they were banned in the market. I think it was in 2015/16 season when he scored 16 goals for us but he also squandered 19 sitters that season. My mate, a fellow gooner and I would constantly curse watching him ruin opportunities.

David Ornstein says we are about to sign Cedric Soares on loan from you guys. I haven't watched your games, how is he?

You can have him with our blessing. He has talent and would suit a bottom half of the table club perfectly but if you are aiming for Top 4 he isn't good enough.

Arsenal finally sign a defender in Pablo Mari. Only on Loan but nevertheless its a defender which we are in desperate need of.

Next weekends games can cause quite a bit of shuffling on the log: Leicester (Currently 3rd on the log) Vs Chelsea (4th) United (5th) vs Wolves (7th) Palace(11th) vs Sheffield (8th) Spurs (6th) vs City (2nd) Liverpool (1st) vs Saints (9th) Burnley (13th) vs Arsenal (10th) Pity my Saturday is already pre-booked

You can definitely see the influence that Arteta has had in the team. For me Ozil, Luiz and Pepe all had their best games in an Arsenal shirt last night. When the points start coming in then the confidence will grow and many of the chances that we missed last night will start to find the back of the net.The statum was buzzing like the old Highbury. While there is a lot of work still to be done wrt fitness as the players ran out of steam in the 2nd half, I must say I'm loving this Arteta Ball we are busy playing.

Must admit that after loosing both our wing backs and then conceding before half time i thought we were set for a loss so went to bed and missed the second half. Watched the replay at 04:00 this morning. Martinelli is 100% passionate and his drive gave us the win last night. such a fresh breath of air.

Yeah and it seems Freddie will be interim coach. While I think Freddie will be a great success one day, I mean look what he has done with our youth, I fear that the fans might turn on him when things go wrong. Not because he deserves it but because of the legacy of frustrations the fans have had to endure the last decade or so. However he will definitely be granted a lot of leeway by the fans which should see out the season, but Freddie can't be our long term solution, not yet. IF Freddie is the coach next season it will turn the same as King Kenny at Pool and Ole at United.

Yeah the board said they were giving Emery time to turn it around but as it stands we definitely are out of Top 4 and if we are loose our next Europa game we are out too. I can't see the board giving him more time but my worry like Gen has said before, who do you replace him with? NES isn't better even though the bookings have him as the front runner. Sad times for us Gooners.
