    Sorry forgot to mention that the numbness has been on every bike / saddle I have ever owned, not just the current Speedmax. Currently I'm on the prologo T-Gale test saddle which is the narrowest of them all and it is sloped downwards. Anymore and it puts strain on my arms as it feels like I'm slipping off. We have changed my riding/sitting position to try solve the problem but alas I think its my body that doesn't want to play ball (excuse the pun).

    Yeah I have, the last two saddles were loan saddles from the bike fitting expert.

    Looking for Saddle recommendations please. I've had Selle Heel, ISM ADAMO, Fizik Mistica, Prologo T-Gale saddles but they all make me numb down under within 10-30min depending on the saddle. Has anyone also battled with soft tissue numbness and then eventually found something that helped? The saddle will be for a Canyon Speedmax Thanks in advance.

    Does anyone know what was on the bike course for PE this year? I see the Ironman site says Maurten and Gatorade are, but it doesn't say which one or which product range.

    He is the reigning 70.3 champ but says he got a bit sick after Kona and is lacking his ultimate motivation. Let's see, maybe Kristian takes it and it ends up being a straight 2 way swap. Lucy says she is race ready so here is hoping for her after the long injury break.

    Add in accommodation and flights from the North and it adds up unpleasantly. This will probably be my last event in SA. However we are using the opportunity to bring family up to the event and make a 2 week holiday out of it all.

    Congrats to her 💪 Like you said previously, the downfall of IM in PE is that you need to train during winter if you are in the north. The nights are already becoming long.

    Tell me about it. 1st year my sister ran and she was the 1st SA woman after leading almost 60km, and all i could do was dot watch. Luckily family members on the side of the road kept sending video updates. The gene pool definitely decided to skip me. Anyway, Well done to all the ran and all the seconders on the side of the road.

    This made me think. With all that has happened in the last year, I've gotten FAT. Currently 26.4%, no wonder I'm so slow. HOWEVER, life has settled down a bit now so I'm on the journey back. Got my first trail marathon in 5 weeks. Going to pull a page from the Steer playbook , "Super undertrain for the event" 😉

    Or Ocon but then again, THEY crash into him not him into them. While Max races side by side without incident against Leclerc and Sainz yet is known as a dirty driver.

    Maybe if Kayalami collaborated with the local taxi gangs in midrand and had them race each other in a warm up race, then the government might throw a few pennies in.
