  4. Hi Nicko Just a heads up. Check this deal at Cyclotech in Bloem. Stumpjumper FSR S-Works!!!!!!! Was R75 000, now only R25 000!!!!!!!!!! Details to follow
  5. Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me if there is a Teva agent in SA or a shop that sells Teva shoes? Thanx!!!!!
  6. Sounds great! So now you can travel abroad and still have a shweet trail/AM bike waiting for you at home. Best of luck with the purchase, post some pics when you have it.
  7. Sh!te man, that is very sad to hear. Stuff like that always happens to me. I must agree with you that 35K on your first AM bike is a lot to spend! You will never regret investing some time and money into travelling, that is a very clever outlook. I wish you all the best with the scoping for a bike.....BTW what bike are you going to have a look at?
  8. Aaah crap! Sorry to hear. What happened?

    First AM Bike

I bought a brand new 2012 Stumpy 26" in April for R13250. Best thing that I have bought in years!!!! I love it, and I think Spez is an awesome brand!
  10. I'm with you on that hehe. I'll give it a week.....maybe....max. Then I will have to go for either Loaded AMX or Haven.
  11. Yeah I love the Haven stem, but it is a bit pricey though. Soooo many choices but not many options, either bit pricey or no stock. Its just impossible to wait when one wants to buy new components......Damn! Must be patient
  12. I dont really care about what how well the combination looks. I dont want to rush and buy the gold stem, and in a weeks time Dial'd has black DMR's back in stock for instance. In the end I dont really give a rats arse!
  13. Hehehe! I ride with flats n baggies as well so there is no point at worrying about pedal stroke for me. Nice bike and I must say the gold goes well with the rest of the package! I might still consider......
  14. Thats very reasonable! I will have a look at Superstar's products, and have them give me a quote with shipping. It is nice to get stuff from the UK, as the shipping isn't bad and shipping doesn't take too long. Thank you dimsum!
  15. Hi dimsum Thats very nice.....but I would like to buy from a local dealer. I have been smoked by shipping costs and taxes previously. Plus there are some bargains available in SA, just no stock at the mo.
  16. Shweet! I will have a look there. Thanx for the help SLiick!
  17. Hey SLiick Please tell me more......I've looked everywhere in SA. I need a 60-70mm stem, preferably machined and anodised.
  18. Jeez man that's hectic! Glad you are unharmed! Good luck with finding this douchebag, and with your insurance!
  19. Hi Patches My bars are 720's and feel pretty good to me. I will see how a shorter stem affects the feel, I know it will make the steering more responsive, but that's what I am looking for. As well as I feel like I am too far forward when taking drops and when manualling.
  20. Thank you all, for your much appreciated advice and opinions! I think I will rather wait for Dial'd Bikes to get their new stock. I think I will rather go for a DMR Swarm in black, as Rush Sports only have the gold Spanks in stock.
  21. Hi everyone, I need some opinions on the combination of my bike and a new stem....... Will this go with this? I am looking for a shorter stem, and all Dial'd Bikes'stems are out of stock. The above stem is a Spank Royala Timer stem from Rush Sports for R405. Bargain? Excuse the crap bike photo
  22. Had an awesome ride at 7 Dams in Bloemfontein on Monday morning! Sucks being back at work today!!!!!!!
  23. Hi Nick I bought a 2012 Stumpy FSR Comp 26'er earlier this year, got it for R13250! Super bargain, as they where listed for R27000. Maybe find out if you cant get hold of these bargains from Spez. It has 140mm travel and descent parts all round. I just love mine! Good luck!
  24. Sorry guys, no guitars here.....
