  1. CRICKEY!!!!!!! Please make is stop!!! Got to 40 secs, but **** those two losers are irritating DAMN! I dont care if what they say is true or not, thats most probs the most annoying 40secs I have ever endured in my life. Dislike those douchebags!!!!!
  2. http://img2.wantitall.co.za/prodimages/Kent-Super-20-Boys-Bike-20-Inch-Wheels-Red-Black-White__51S0G4RvMlL._SL160_.jpg Only R40 000.......I ordered 3 thank you very much!
  3. Hi Showtime I agree with you totally with regards to what a hub is and what it does. The thing is that the Hi Lo rear hub is a crap design, if you look at the rollers inside the free wheel body. My free wheel body has developed a nasty play and the hub sounds really bad. So instead of me rebuilding the stupid thing every 6 months. I would just rather invest in a proper set of hubs. I don't need a rear hub locking up on me when I am riding trails. it could cause much more damage than what a new hubset will cost. I will definitely try to replace the rear under warranty, and keep the new one as a spare.
  4. Hi Fanie Thanks I will pm him.
  5. Yeah its crazy, it seems like 90% of these hubs will fail prematurely. I am only going to replace the hubs for now, my Roval Control Trail's are still holding up fine. I reckon if you have the bucks, replace the complete wheelset. The Comp models could do with better rims I suppose.
  6. Good day all I would like to hear your opinions on which LBS in Bloem build wheelsets the best? I will have to do a rebuild in this week, but has to be good workmanship and of course not eat my wallet as I already have to pay for a new hubset. Thanks alot!
  7. Seems like I will be replacing my hubset with these babies Kinda looking froward to having a rear hub that sounds like a bee, and not a concrete mixer.
  8. Hi Guys I am one of many lucky Stumpy FSR owners, a 2012 model. The bike kicks ass, but the Hi Lo rear hub sucks bigtime. It really sounds bad, and I think I should check out the insides before I go riding again. Apparently a bearing overhaul and regrease should do the trick according to this thread http://forums.mtbr.com/specialized/hi-lo-rear-disc-hub-service-replacement-869150.html Can anyone give me some advice on this? Who else is having the same concerns? I dont know if I should do the overhaul, or should I rather push my LBS to replace the bloody thing. Thanx all!
  9. Oh I see, didnt know that was the Ripley. Seems like a pretty well thought out design. It is good to know that the Mojo is here to stay. Timeless beauty!
  10. Hi Crow I mean Iwan. That is a way different design for Ibis. Why would they've changed their iconic design? Keeping up with the times?
  11. Shweet! I agree, with all the different types of dirt junkies it can only be loads of fun. I am defs going then. See you there!
  12. Posted this in the events category with no results. Have any of you guys attended this event before? It looks like fun, I would like to compete in the mini-enduro race on the Sunday. http://www.festivalofdirt.co.za/Home/
  13. We do the same laser fusing/sintering process in tool steel and titanium. It is pretty cool to use this tech for producing frames, I can just tell you that those guys spent many many hours post processing those parts before they could assemble. MANY HOURS! Cough cough bloody expensive cough........

    FOD 2014 - Enduro

Hi all Is this a worthwhile event to attend, I would like to compete in the mini enduro race. It looks pretty cool to me with all the disciplines competing at the same event. http://www.festivalofdirt.co.za/
  15. There's a new kid on the block... http://enduro-mtb.com/en/exclusive-review-the-all-new-vecnum-moveloc-seatpost/
  16. This bike looks like it could be up for a challenge....... http://enduro-mtb.com/en/sneak-peek-bionicon-announces-new-26650b-enduro-bike/
  17. Shorter stem and proper flat pedals for my Stumpy FSR!
  18. Seriously? Thats flippen hilarious! Well the toilet is the most secure place to do dodgy things in.......
  19. Shizer that sounds terrible! I have never liked seating beads on tires, even when someone else does it. I'd rather stand a few meters away and observe with my ears muffled. Nonetheless, tubeless is the best move that I've made in a while. The tires even roll better, and feedback is better aswell.
  20. Hi everyone Hope you all had a great weekend. So my GF and I went for our first BLISS ride on Saturday. Wheels took a hammering through rocks, got swarmed by angry devil thorns and the Stans just laughed all the way. Best money I have spent this year so far! Thanks for talkin me into it! Have a great day y'all!
  21. Thanks Maxxis I will make sure I inflate them to 300psi tonight. I will ask my GF to hold the wheel close her face while I inflate them all the way...... Have a great weekend guys!
  22. I have always liked this mucho grande!!!
  23. Hi SwissVan Thanks I will make sure about the pressures, I am sure the LBS will probs inflate them alot as to set the bead. Will just check them after the pickup.
  24. Hi Schizo They charge R370 per wheelset, so R740 total. For Stans rimtape, valves and sealant. I had to buy my GF a set of Kenda Slant tires for R450 each as well though........ It will be worth it though, more time on the trails.
