  1. I would surely like to take this on, I saw it for the first time last year and its on my must-do-within-3 years list. I am saving up for it, but will not make the capital this year. 2015!!!!!Mega!!!
  2. Hehehehehehe
  3. Maybe I should try and join that event this year???? Any excuse to visit Hogs again!!!
  4. Stream crossing.
  5. Madonna and child waterfall.
  6. My girlfriend and I stayed over in Hogsback for 1.5 days, on our way back to Bloem from Chinsta, two weeks ago. We explored the town and the surroundings on our bikes, I really cant wait to get back there! I gave Neels, from Cycle Roots adventures, a call the one morning to hook us up with trail maps. After meeting him at his house and a map in the bag, we headed off into the forests. We mostly rode gravel roads to get up to where the singletracks start, but hell was in worth it. We only had time to do the Puffadder Run, and it was n blast. This place is magical, I would recommend any adventurist trail rider nature lover to go check it out. Thanks to Neels for his friendly service, we will see you again soon. Below some photos of some of the sights. I had to decrease the images sizes, so sorry if they look crappy. Redwood forest
  7. Thanx for the heads up guys, but its too late. I bought a Menabo a few weeks ago. I did ask Makro Bloem to get me a BNB from Gauteng, and they told me there is none available. Fookin typical! I dont know why would you employ useless douches like that...... Oh well enjoy your BNB's!
  8. Hi Fanie Thank you for the advice, I will check them out and take down the details. I am leaving in two days, soooo excited! Keep well.
  9. Hi everyone I will be in Cintsa West for 10 days from next week on holiday. Does anyone know of nice trails in the area? Thanx all!
  10. Shoot them in their faces and chuck them away!!! Bloody rubbish!!!
  11. Hi JEM DH I cant comment on the Boa, but I recently bought the Race 2 platform and the quality seems top notch. You cant go wrong with Menabo.
  12. R2500 BWAHAHAHAHA! Yeah right! Ridiculous!
  13. Hi Renier I would also like to know of other trails than 7 dams in Bloem. 7 Dams is really nice though, but you can ride all the trails there in 2 hours. We seriously need more trails in and around Bloem. Even think around Thaba Nchu, at least there is some elevation.
  14. Just came from Makro in Bloem, no BNB platforms available........this sucks. They tell me those models have been discontinued. Game told me the same story WTF? Now I will have to cough up a lot more for a decent platform carrier.
  15. Ek dink ek moet nou nou n draai gaan maak by Makro, teen daardie prys gaan die goed vlieg! En ek kort een dringend!
  16. Look on rackncarry 's website. They have a wide selection of brand and models available. I like the Menabo racks, they are well priced as well. Happy shopping.
  17. Waaaaat????? Net R999? Vir die platform carrier? Bargain van die jaar.
  18. Hi everyone Do any hubbers own one of these? I see they are going for a very good price, and I need a rack for my Subaru Outback. I have two MTB's that I need to take with me everywhere, and I will do lots of gravel roads on the way. Are these racks durable? Any issues with them. Thank guys I appreciate the help. http://www.bicyclepower.co.za/Portals/0/BPT%20Images/Racks/Thelma_Rear_View_Up_sized.jpg
  19. Hi JJBoth What brand carrier is that in the pic? I need to buy a platform rack before Dec, I only have 2 bikes. Those BNB racks are too bloody heavy! Is yours a bit lighter?
  20. Nucking futs!!!!! I downloaded the whole comp from RedbullTV, it is the pinnacle of sickness.
  21. Cool shiz! Awesome project, are you a mech engineer? The welding jigs also pose some interesting challenges. please keep me up to date on your progress.
  22. Love these guys! They have a super chill vibe to them.
  23. Seriously shweet design, I hope they bring out an enduro/trail bike soon.........I think its time to speak to the boss 'bout that raise.
  24. Now ur talking! I have always wanted to build frames for bikes, motorised kind as well. I have designed and manufactured extended A-arms for my Suz LTR450 before. Just think that I will have to practice TIG welding Alu for a few months before I attempt to build a frame. Also the angles and lengths are too much for me. Will just copy a design like you said.
  25. Thanks Flowta! I like to drool over the engineering of bikes like these......
