Hey guys, I'm on the verge of buying a Venge and was wondering if any of you have some long term reviews out there. I mostly ride flat and fast (ish for an old man) and leave the climbing to the mountain goats out there. I was thinking of the Tarmac or similar, but like the sledgehammer appeal of the Venge although I'm a bit concerned that it might be a bit too harsh.

You have to seriously haul ass to take a KOM in the bosch..... that's no lie. Flagging a legit ride just sucks. I've flagged a ride that stole a KOM before, but then only because the guy was averaging 125km/h along the N1 for a portion of the ride.....

33km each way.... Flat and fast with a Cape Town south east behind my back most evenings home.... Thanks to the West Coast cycle lane
