  1. I once did a deal on BidorBuy and the guy also send me a proof of payment via sms. I later discovered that he just forwarded the sms that the bank had sent him, he even sent me his account balance (lol). I received the payment, delivered the item and everybody was happy!!!
  2. I prefer handlebar mounted, because if you turn your head with a helmet light, the road will be dark. Or even better, get both. Oh, and I have a 1000 lumen light (not sure the name of the brand), way more light than I need. But if I need to buy I new light, I would go for more lumens.
  3. I wonder what was the weight of those bikes!?
  4. On Tuesday I washed my bike twice, before and after my ride. It all depends on how dirty your bike is.
  5. My cheap Olympic shoes is almost 2 years old and it can go a further 2 years, maybe even more.
  6. I know I Garmin would work and yes, I use my Galaxy S3.
  7. Ja, but now all my stats is on Endomondo!? And it's also free, except if you buy the better version.
  8. Most of these you just mentioned, I think Endomondo have as well. I don't use all of the functions, but I love to go and view the rides that my friends and other people did.
  9. Well, it sucks then that I discovered Endomondo before Strava.
  10. I want to do my first Argus mtb race this year.
  11. I usually take my vacations around mtb events during the year (Argus, Knysna Oyster Festival, OFM Classic, etc. ), that is why I worked through December.
  12. Shipping would be like 40 bucks.
  13. Don't throw it away, give it to meeee!!!
  14. YAAA, the price on mtb equipment is NOT funny! Luckily, where I stay, it's muddy like once a year (the dust on the other hand!!!)...
  15. I am 1.92 and I am riding a Large. (Specialized 29'', GT 29'', Merida 29'' and now a Mongoose 26'')
  16. I don't know if this will help, but my seat/seat post (FIZIK Tundra 2 with 2 different seat posts) makes cracking sound. It has been doing this on my last 2 bikes. And the problem is dust and dirt. When I take my bike to the shop, they just clean the seat and whalaaa, no more cracking sounds!
