If you do the Argus with your phone, the probability is there that you don't have any battery power left to call your friends or family to find their whereabouts after the race (depends on your phone). Samsung have better battery life than Sony Ericsson.

Weather or medical, it depends on the individual situation of the person. I personally, if I pre-enter a race, I would still do the race, even if it rains...

Go to your local dealer, sometimes you would find a nice deal on a second hand bike. I prefer new bikes. In the past year and a half, I had a Specialized, GT and a Merida. Love the Merida the most. Ja, and like Spiderkzn said, CWC in Bellville or Greenpoint.

Well, I am in Kimberley. The closer the event, the better! And if I never done a race or cycled in that area, I try to attend the race.

I had to buy new gloves, my cheap ones did their time. I was looking for some nice ones, I bit more expencive, that would last more than a year. None of the good ones could fit me, so I ended buying the only one that fitted me, cheap ones again!!!

I prefer a heavier tire that is less likely to get a puncher...

Mine is sleeping in my bedroom as well and luckily the girl did not start moaning about it YET!? In fact, she is thinking of getting her one bike!
