I keep telling people. 2016 is the year of the Pyga. For them, demand will drive the other sizes.... The more growth they see, the more likelihood of the other sizes.

[emoji12] It's a 420mm. Still has some space in the seat tube to go higher if necessary! Mid BB to saddle rail is 83.5cm.

I did think about it, but we seem to have made it fit. To be honest, an XL bike is hard enough to throw around. Anything bigger would start to be less fun (assumption). The reach on the. Pyga is very long. It took me a long time to learn to get the whole bike around tight corners without catching the back wheel. I feel very comfortable on this bike. I've done some long rides (5 hours), and had zero discomfort. So overall, I'm happy. The other problem with custom is when things go wrong (broken or stolen frame) then it's a mission to replace....

Yes. It looks like Pyga ordered the hose length pre cut to size. Because this is an XL frame, and I'm a tall bugger, I've used all the hose. When I service the seatpost, I'll put a new longer hose on. I'm going to cable tie the dropper hose onto the brake cable to help a bit in the meantime. There is just enough slack.

Finishing touches made. I just need to clean up the cable routing around the bars. The ride on this machine is just something else!

Doesn't come in XL.....

IDT induced Vomit works well. Do 8 x 2 mins MAXIMAL efforts. 4-5 mins between. Highest resistance, toughest gear. If you can do 9, you've probably done it too lightly. Warm up properly first!!!! Once a week for 3 weeks.

Luckily for us, Grant was as excited as us to build these bikes! We were building all afternoon in his shop yesterday. I'll never do it any other way again!

So. Here she is. We had an AWESOME build day with Grant at Sprocket & Jack. What a legend. So cool to be involved in the build of this special machine. I still need to do some final tweaks, so just one picture for now. So happy I can finally Post my Pyga!

Literally wetting myself with excitement.

My frame is finally on its way! A friend is picking it up today. Now to find a bike shop that's open and available in jhb to build it!

Pyga's biggest challenge is going to be keeping up with demand. Just wait till these steeds get out into the market properly.
