  12. Full carbon, new for R40k, thats a great deal! was a lockdown special hey
  13. Thread reboot-because anything possible on 2020. So anybody have more experience with these pedals. I have shimano 520 spds but looking at these as an option
  14. Lots to consider You want new you can go Titan cypher,Pyga hyrax,Norco Fluid, silverback stratos,Spez stumpjumper (new one will be released probably November).Trek recently had entry model fuels for R39k. Do you want 100mm fork travel or 100mm+? Twin shock lockout system or doesnt matter? Dropper post is vital ensure it has or allow budget for it. Got a decent budget, google the bikes you think look the nicest to you and then read up about them. Try to go test ride all the bikes you interested in, will do wonders in helping to decide.
  15. Luckily you still lived to tell the story. Damn idiot, why ride away ....geez the coward
  16. So you didnt enjoy the narrower tyre? Im going to do same with old tube and wrap it for chain slap protection
  17. Looking good man, hows the thicker tyres? Very grippy. Folks seems to say get narrower rear tyres helps alot and keep the thicker infront. You used cable ties for your chain stay rubbers? Check this link https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/88646-diy-chainstay-protector/
  18. Did you just straight swop out (besides for the washes)the rotors and new bigger pads too?
  19. How is your bike going though? Happy with it? Pics man , pics
  20. Lots of my research suggest that need bigger rear brakes or maybe just upgrade the pads. Once i test it out i will review if needed, im 77kg so lets see how it does. I do want solid brakes though without that brake fade i experienced on my hardtail rockhopper. As for tokens, no idea what they are or used for lol.
