  2. Definitely will do Shot buddy
  3. One would expect the lower end forks to have that issue, eish. Will attach the gopro, hopefully can capture the squishy noises. More concerned if it's a thing to worry about, seals broken etc.
  4. I just fitted a rockshox yari, rc charger. On the slightly bigger hits it makes a squish noise. Played around with rebound , 3 clicks up n then 3 clicks down from midpoint to check if changes but sound remains. Fork was brand new, but I had the springs changed out to slightly smaller. Fork works, noise just irritating

  6. That's a real I don't give cr#p attitude
  7. This is correct, daily ship chartering rates has exploded due to the demand. It's practically impossible to find tonnage to hire, if you do it's at exhorbitant rates. Coupled by shortage of empty containers, in the areas of the world where its needed adds to the chaos and Price premiums. Delays in production, means big producers are holding onto the containers for longer waiting to fill and ship out thus means containers take longer to turnaround add to the cost shipping companies add onto prices as it's opportunity losses being factored in aswell. China now having scheduled power outages due to apparent carbon reduction fines they will get if they don't lower ther co2 footprint, again causing a delay in supply chain. However that is more a political and economic power play to keep demand high in my view. Prices of bikes won't decrease, even if shipping rates decrease by next year.

  11. Helpful Hubbers Anybody have a left crank arm, sram dub to sell. Will even buy both crank arms Please n dankie
  12. Thread resurrection I bent my left crank , sram nx dub direct mount on 1x12. Boost. It's threaded bottom bracket. I want to replace the 1 arm or worst case just buy 2 crank arms. What do I need to consider when buying? Must I buy boost crankset with the spindle? Can I remove the right crank arm from that spindle without having to go to an lbs? Must I buy direct mount crank or can I buy a spider mount , how do I cater for the boost offset. My Google skills confused me
  13. Andrew at Stoke suspension in Woodstock , Cape Town @droo
  14. Niner ROS9 perhaps, seen few go on sale before here. Steel frame. Have a buddy who had a medium, will ask if he will sell. Silverback slade trail Dartmoor, seen few on sale. Did trailtech or stoke suspension bring them in? What your price range tho? Frame only and full bike price

I would say with 24hr to 48hrs from time dhl collects the package, will they reach out to u about customs and payment. Max 72hrs worse case Definitely before to arrives in SA will u need to pay
  17. What is the route and profile of this race, my Google skills ain't working
  18. Maybe I'm too passive of a rider, but the side knobs seem to be doing okayish Besides little chipping away which is normal, knob breaking clean off....not ayoba
  19. Thought same thing, odd how specialized actually replaced under warranty
  20. I'm impressed on how well u looks after your knobs after 1.5yrs lol. Look brand new In other tyre concerns, when is small cracks on sidewalks....safe still? 1st pic.freewheel cycology just did a warranty replacement on these wheels for those cracks for 6month old tyres as they deemed it not safe. 2nd pic. Looking at my maxxis that's 7month old has these cracks...are they safe?
  21. Apologies for that, as he is the way way way more technical engineer tool type dude than I will ever be Roof racks is what I have, freerides and they awesome. @ChrisF I agree roof racks is best options but as per thule he needs some stabilizer bar between the 2 wing bars due to some issue with the short roof of the ST....not to sure. But the towbar rack is just so much better as he has that on his wifes SUV. And what makes him want it more, I had my bike on the roof racks this wknd, and a overhanging branch strategically hit my brake lever, into pieces. My dumb @ss took different way home and bhammmm????????????... Anyhows this fool can come reply to his own thread @ridohg
  22. That is exactly what I'm doing already lol, goes with me. @Thermophage he doesn't have thule freeride, has these hang on rear type Thule racks. And has made the necessary adjustment to not hang off the rear roof spoiler to avoid the damages. But look at how the wheel bases of the thule rack bent out of shape just due to windforce driving from claremont to tokai.
  23. Also the rear spoiler makes any hang on rear not feasible as it pulls onto the spoiler. He currently has one but bike isn't stable on this thule hang on type. With most towbars, has to cut away the middle of the rear bumper. I'm his brother, not a stalker lol
  24. o-deal-save-r1000/ He has the current generation fiesta ST and wants a flat rack, not keen on those hang on top tube types.
  25. You are spot on Sir. Hard to find and thus so happy Chad gave the the option. It handles well on the techie stuff, and actually doesn't climb too bad at all. Did few black trails the wknd and she didn't feel out of place.
