  1. Ohok, guess luck of the draw. I had my claim dealt with very efficiently as they immediately directed the claim to "riders@work" believe they independent run or specialist dept and my claim was approved within 5 days. And literally got a daily update.
  2. Do give more insight
  3. Assuming that bike related Claims has higher likelihood of occurring than household, and therefore minimize the increases on all insured items when it comes to the annual increase review post a claim. Perhaps bicycle specific insurance pays out quicker?not sure I'm with Naked Insurance and they offer great service with my recent claim
  4. Thanks for the info
  5. Is it safe to assume that bottelary trails are all easily done with hardtail? Or are any trails black trails where dual sus is better? Prefer not to be overbiked
  6. No issue with NX, unless you looking to save grams. Sram xd and gx going to cost you alot more rands, get nx for now and then order the garbaruk
  7. Reason why I recently moved away from sunrace, caused constant issues on my drivetrain. Will rather pay the extra money, but sunrace never again. Glad u got the click sorted

  12. Thanks for this info, think I will go this route. Not even sure why mtb jerseys are more expensive, and I prefer long or 3/4 sleeve for sun protection and saves the skin from the stupid falls
  13. Self populated or downloaded from various websites? Thanks for the info
  14. Anybody ride with mx designed jerseys? Seen these Oneal and Thor but listed for mx? Any cons, doubt should be unless material is heavier, thicker for mx. Online shopping so can't go feel the material. The GOAT wears Oneal but don't often see in shops locally for MTB.
  15. Since always being on maxxis dhf dhr assegai disector agressor ardent rekon forekaster I thought I would try a left field tyre, not commonly seen on our trails but very close tread pattern to dhr, i purchased panaracer romero 29x2.4 triple compound, ST -super tough casing etc. It's on the rear, not the fastest but the tyres does absorb , damps the rides abit so helps on the hardtail. Grips well, but haven't really put it thru some heavy sessions or in full dry out trails as yet. Been in tokai , cobra and dh lines but all on damp trails. Will see how holds out in the summer days
  16. Believe trailtech distribute oneup products, if you haven't tried them. Else bring it in from Europe, might even be cheaper
  17. @Matt Is it possible to have a filter on all ads that differentiate road and MTB? As we do have an option when looking at all ads to filter on location, price, seller etc...is it possible to add filter road and mtb for All ads browsing. Then it will show all items listed under mtb for sale, besides for clothing and accessories perhaps. Just an idea Screenshot of what filter area I'm talking about
  18. I'm looking long term, sram cassettes are pricier than shimano , like for like. Also just prefer the shimano shifting feel over sram
  19. Will be going via my lbs, appreciate your response Thanks
  20. Ok was just checking yes as I read up on certain hubs incompatibilities etc. So must be a dt swiss, can't use Stans or lyne freehub. Will check with MarcHD Shot Theo ????????
  21. Wise ppl of the hub I currently have dt swiss 240hybrid hub, ratchet with xd driver. Iwant to switch to shimano cassette so would need microspline, do I just get a shimano freehub?if yes, must it be the dt swiss or is ther other options. Reason : I have learnt to love shimano shifting over sram
