  1. Does it make Morewood less Morewood?
  2. Rule #1: Stay away from any sacred pigs.
  3. Welcome Wicksie... from the fastest racing driver you ever did see...
  4. I guess they are looking for higher profits over higher turnover. I'd buy 2 digital pics if they were R25 each but I'm not buying 1 for R50.
  5. Sweet send away..... manbearpig@webmail.co.za fanks!
  6. I hear you about it being a bit big but then you'd have to question how diligent a potential hijacker would be in checking a bike for a tracker unit. If it's "about the size of a Zippo lighter" it could be put under your spare tube in a saddle bag. The bottom line is that insuring your bike and letting the bastards get away with it is not going to lessen the problem. We need to catch them and see who is buying the bikes. Sure technology is moving fast and someone will come up with a cheap tracker the size of Nathrix's left testicle but I think we gotta do what we can now. I'm looking forward to reading the thread that says "I was hijacked and we tracked the bastards to etc..."
  7. Ok so one clever oke has an opinion on it (thanks caerus) and one fat peasant with a yellow helmet is going to get a fat lip. Anyone else got any thoughts on the gps tracker thingy?
  8. Ok so it says this thing is the size of a zippo lighter. I'm thinking one of these stuck under my saddle and maybe I'll have the chance of getting my bike back in the unfortunate circumstance of getting hijacked one day? What do the clever okes think? http://www.buycycle.co.za/buygear/gps/intellisport/shado-intellisport-gps-tracker-intellisport.html
  9. My 2 bits. No one will ever come close to Senna but you gotta see Ham's attitude as "Senna-esque" As for yesterday, there were a few passes made at hairpin. It takes two to make an accident. Ham yielded to Schu at hairpin, Schu yieled to Ham at St Devote. On the flip side Massa turned into Ham at hairpin. And Maldonado turned (like prost on senna, suzuka) into Ham at St Devote. This is supposed to be racing. If drivers are penalised for trying to pass and other drivers are not penalised for not looking in their mirrors then where will that lead? Yawn fest sunday afternoon snooze....
  10. There must be an echo in here but WHERE EXACTLY IS SCHURWEBERG ROAD PAST CHICKEN FARM?
  11. Is that jabbawakee speak?
  12. I took my Gobi off to use the Chumba saddle. Really comfortable. Worked for me
  13. What is faster, a cheetah or a speedboat?
  14. You say the service has gone down? As far as I am concerned it's always been bad. Not even Gordon Ramsay could sort those useless peasants out. Toadbury hall is just down the road. Much better plan.
  15. We all know that chicks have zero technical skills and walk up steep climbs so they would prefer 29ers.....
  16. I had a gardener on his dikwiel sitting my wheel on Sunday. I got p!issed off cos I couldn't drop the bugger !
  17. On a 26er there are only fast routes...
  18. No matter how wild it's been I've never broken any bones whilst having "nookie" So I guess I'll just have to think of single track while I'm shagging.
  19. I think this system has merit. Why have we moved from cables to hydraulic brakes? It's simply much better. Hydraulic shifting should be far less maintenence and advantageous on wet/muddy rides. The system seems pretty simple too. I guess the issue would be weight? I'd go for the MKII though once they've ironed out the teething problems and mass production has made it more affordable. Time will tell I guess....?
  20. As you say you are a learner I'd suggest the softest soil you can find so when you fall your mielie off you don't break anything.
  21. Well as far as I know (and I did see him riding his bike at karkloof) Neil Petersen is riding with American Classics and Contis....
  22. I do mine 3 times a year. Just replaced bushes for "in case". Preventative maintenance. Cheaper than replacing stancions.
  23. 26"
  24. I'm no expert on photography but I think you should have tried to zoom in more on the background. The sunlit bushes in the foreground are messing up the exposure time on your camera and with the result we cannot clearly see the condition of the tyres because it has not captured enough light in this shaded area.
  25. I only try and sabotage my mates trying to sell stuff. Now that IS funny!
