The bike eventually arrived on Friday, having had to pay 15% vat because of a stuff-up by SA Customs, and the 15% duty because we weren't in the mood for another fight. Bike was boxed in nice sturdy re-used card-board box and it took some unpacking to get everything out. It came with a thick manual (about 20 languages), torque wrench with various bits and other bits and bobs. The handlebar, dropper seatpost and rear wheel was all that had to be assembled. And pedals and saddle from the old bike. I have since put back the saddle that came with the bike. The bike is a 2017 Spectral WMN CF 9.0 full carbon trail bike in size small. The bike was ordered from the Factory Outlet option on their site which means it wasn't brand spanking new, but you would have to look very closely with a magnifying glass to see anything wrong - for all intents and purposes, it is basically brand new.
