I had the snip done about 7 years ago. Spousel concent is not needed, but the doctor did have a discussion with me on why I wanted the procedure done, what the outcomes are, that reversal is not guaranteed (and bloody expensive). He also asked me if my wife knows that it is being done. Then he documented it all and I had to sign it. I do not regret having had the procedure.

Is the frame the issue with going offroad? Doesn't carbon give a bit more flex, ie assistance, on gravel? Would the Shockstop make a difference in the handling? One would have thought being a gravel bike, it would be able to do some none-technical singletrack as Van Gaalens River Trail

My main concern underlying this video, and evident in all other saps/metro cop videos doing the rounds, is individuals that clearly lack the intellectual capacity to be in a position of authority. Given our political landscape combined with socio-economic issues (incl dismal education system), incompetent individuals are given a uniform. Being an athlete in itself is narcisistic. Where did athletes originate? In Rome, and it was only males at first. And how did they compete? Butt-naked. The same today. Hi Stuart. Clearly you can ride a bike, but is it sustainable? Being pro/ semi-pro in SA is a bottomless pit. All I can contribute is to propose that you get back into building a career outside of cycling. Maybe laying low for a year or two (well, you can still do your races) whilst finding your feet in whichever engineering field you are, is not such a bad idea. It is hectic to sacrifice what you love, but keep your extended future in mind. All the best. I truly hope you get helped

I have always driven German cars. But I think I am cured from that now... We currently have a little 2010 MB B200 Turbo auto. The gearbox is going into limp-mode.. it going to be a R35 000 fix. I am not getting an auto gearbox again very soon

We are going through the same exercise now. I am leaning towards the 1.5 DCI Qashqai. I read an article at some point comparing the various gearboxes re:replacement costs vs issues etc. CVT and DSG were on top of the list to avoid

Does anyone have some insight on the 2018 and newer Nissan Qashqai/X-trail? Specifically the cvt auto? And how thirsty is the x-trail 2.5 And any input on Hyundai Tucson 2.0?
