I am all for developing talent. But at some stage a development rider should be not classified as a development rider. That is if the development has been done correctly. Or am I wrong? Also, if a rider has done an event and finished in the top percentage, he/she should not be seen as a development rider the next time he/she enters such a race? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

My question is in all seriousness, and is more aimed at cycling in a whole... What constitute a development rider? And when is such a rider not a development rider anymore? Can anyone be a development rider or is it reserved for a specific socio-demography? Seeing that equality is such a sore-point in SA... Why not take away the development category? This being a fly-fishing thread I thought it appropriate to ask here... Where can one go to catch bass from the bank? Some place that offers catch and release at a decent price. I want to take my laaitie. Must be within an hour (or a bit more) from Pta. But this papgooi and wait is a waste of my time and patience (translated as "ek vang fokol"). Ek het 'n elektroniese pos boodskap gestuur aan Krieket Suid Afrika oor die moontlikheid dat die spelers 'n armband of selfs swart dra wanneer hulle weer speel. Ek het ook voorgestel dat hulle 'n advertensie veldtog moet oorweeg. Dalk waar die spelers probeer boer, maar dan besluit om eerder krieket te speel op 'n boer se lande... Ek het ook genoem dat dit nie 'n politieke benadering nodig het nie, maar dat daar eerder standpunt geneem word en dat diè wat die nasie voed, ondersteun word. Dit is 'n baie goeie en wonderlike gebaar. Maar, ek is bevrees dit sal geen impak hê nie. Daar moet nasionaal iets gebeur - 'n nasionale sport span of persoon (nee nie Steve nie) met seggenskap standpunt inneem. En dit moet 'n moerse standpunt wees. Krieket/rugby span wat swart dra tydens 'n wedstryd, 'n reklame veldtog.... hoe ookal. Ongelukkig is ons in die minderheid.
