This is the e-mail I received from SASeeding regarding substituting an entry.... "Please see below more details on how to do a substitution: Add the substitution as a friend under your profile, then Go to my orders, click on manage, click on change booking, click on the entry who cant make it anymore, then on the left you will see 'substitution' click on the option, then click on the new member's name. Please note: there will be an substitution fee of R50 charged." I gather this would hold true for any of their events. The best would be to contact SASeeding. I will contact them in the week to find out exactly. There was a substitution subsection upon registration if I recall correctly. This is truly a terrible day. I am very sad to hear this. I never knew him personally, but followed his contributions to the hub with interest. He even went so far to flame me in another thread, yet his behaviour and comments are excused, even justified and encouraged (please, I am not saying by you - just in general) I MADE A SIMPLE SUGGESTION THAT IN ABSOLUTELY NO WAY HAVE ANY FORM OF NEGATIVE IMPACT ON HIS BUSINESS. I suggested to have the resellers (those that have for instance more than three ads running) split from the general public in the classifieds. And to have the resellers paying for their adverts just because they are in it for profit... Anyway, all is good. I think I will take a break from this "community". I was suggesting an additional paid-for-by-dealers/shops subsection for dealers/shops within the classifieds section I did not suggest filtering exsisting paying advertisers. I proposed an additional revenue for the hub guys that might end in responsible behaviour from dealers/shops. I too love this site. I thought I was giving a constructive suggestion. If it was such a shitty one, then carbonguy could have explained it to me. If I recall correctly, the issue that started this thread was bikes being bought by a dealer/shop that re-advertise the very same bikes at inflated prices. I did attempt to give a constructive suggestion which was ridiculed - again. The possibility of charging dealers/shops to advertise should at no time result in us, the general user, be charged for accessing The Hub. It might only encourage responsible advertising from said dealers/shops which in turn protects the end-user (us). (I am on a farm - I don't have readily available internet) I am not going to go through 40 pages on tapatalk of people bitching about mis-spelled ads, or whether a 2010 model is hardly used.... A quick suggestion to ADMIN... (I didn't go through all the pages of the thread) Perhaps consider to have a seperate section in the classifieds for dealers/shops that are advertising their goods. Very much like now, but charge them a fee to advertise as they are doing so to make money/do business. The private guys are unfairly competing against these guys that hike their prices hence the topic of ethics in classifieds. I just don't open ads from Gauteng anymore because the chances are good it is the same ads from BikeMarket over and over and over again.
