  1. This is going to be my first Enduro. Slightly nervous...hope my bike, body and ego survives the ordeal.
  2. Very nice! Is that a dome glass?
  3. I totally agree re IWC and Panerai. Almost pulled the trigger on a IWC Le Petit Prince recently, but was not ready to sell anything yet. The 43mm size with classic pilot look is stunning and super comfortable
  4. Are you the one that had that amaizing paint job done by bogus?
  5. Cool watch. Love the little MB logo at the end of the second hand! Congrats!
  6. Definitely try and wear it a bit before you ever buy. I learned the hard way with my IWC Big Pilot that comfort is very important. I loved that watch, but I started to wear it less and less after the novelty wore off
  7. There are a couple of Tags I like, in particular the Monaco that Steve Mcqueen wore. That watch however looks good on some people but I never liked it on my own wrist. I don't like their divers though. Some look like imitation Seamasters and Omega Seamaster is one of my favorite watches.
  8. If I see someone with an entry level Tag I assume he bought it for the name even though he can’t afford the more expensive one. If I see someone with an automatic Seiko I assume its a watch nut that don’t care what other people think but love the watch he has on his wrist. I know both statements are sweeping (see what I did there) but I always find myself drawn to the watches that only watch nuts would appreciate and the rest would glance over.
  9. I think I would lean towards Seiko. I like that broad arrow hour hand.
  10. I am definitely considering that. Not sure if it will fit so still need to do some measuring.
  11. No, I bought from Deon last Sept
  12. I looked at similar ones, but it seems the spare tube is the thing that keeps it together. I dont want to carry a tube.
  13. All these damn bags are so big. I dont want to carry a tube with me. Only a couple of bombs and plug kit.
  14. Do any of you have a plan of how to attach CO2 bombs to a Following. I have one of those gadgets that sit behind the bottle cage where you can screw 2 of them in. Problem is the the tube of the Following is too flat behind the bottle cage so it does not fit. Any ideas? Edit: or should I rid myself of my XC tendencies to attach CO2 bombs to my bike?
  15. My guess is that rocky section between Mont Marie and Eden - above the normal route. Awesome pic!
  16. Mont Marie
  17. I got it from highonbikes.com via Amazon. The orange ones are like hens teeth and that was the only place that had stock
  18. Lizard Skins Northshore
  19. R.I.P. Kerneels!
  20. Ha Ha, actually named after “Mordecai & Rigby “
  21. Bella
  22. Rigby
  23. She is a beaut!
  24. That is art! Also love how the manual wind Panerais hugs the wrist. That fractionally thinner case makes all the difference. Congrats!
  25. In that case, where is the pic of the display back? A display back on a manual wind Panerai is a sight to behold!
