Was a piece of cake from Alberton , 5 minutes in and out . We did get there just after 5am.

Going to put my number on the top layer of my clothing ,will have a few on. Like nsbb said, may be on my gravel bike, but if it’s raining to much ????

As I am doing 94.7 with a well organised early bird , there’s no take it as it comes fly by the seat of my pants, get there just in time, and join the back of the group type ride for a change . So today’s ride was easy like Sunday morning,by order of the tapering guru ????

I have pink socks for Sunday mate....and the missus says it’s not pink , its salmon . That makes it much better ????????

A little bit of #gravelenduro ???? mid ride round the back of the eye .eventually coming out to sun valley road . Direction , up the hill into the wind.

So I used to use game ,but thought it caused phlegm and give my sinuses hell. So now I use any flavour of roses cordial for short rides. And enervit sport isotonic drink for longer rides. Having said that, have also cut out dairy ,sugar, gluten and colourants for the last 7 weeks and the above issues have disappeared completely. Sinuses are clear and no need to keep clearing my throat of gunk whilst riding . Can actually breath now. Another week and will revert back to game for a test ride and see if the colourants irritates my sinuses. Fingers crossed it doesn’t,other stuff is bloody expensive. Can’t do water full stop.

GROADING....Earlier to miss the wind apparently. Worked out a treat ,not ???? Still , can’t not smile riding the Exploro. Especially when the wind is in your favour , holy sh#te balls it fast, even with 650b wheels. @TyronLab ????????????????

???????? was early/earlier today . Wish I had gone at 6ish was really warm.

No wind, as if. In my face all the way up cheese loop and walkerville. Yesterday was bliss though.

What if you received you vaccinations in the uk. Have a NHS vaccination card with dates and batch numbers etc. Hope they accept this,if not ,doubt I will bothered much. Trying to arrange any race in the current situation must be logistically hard. Hopefully they have enough hands to make it work.

The wind has seemed to be relentless this year . Never known it so persistent, even for Alberton & surrounds .

The wind was absolutely horrible today. 1st Saturday I have been slightly thankful my sons cricket takes up my sat mornings . The solo ride home must of been tough. Kudos mate ????????????????

Pump tracks are knackering ????

Haven’t been to modders in forever . Always found it a bit monotonous. Truth to be told though I was generally hauling around to much bike . Now that is no longer the case , keen to go back and get some mileage in. Always liked the ruins/house and little rocky section . If I remembering correctly. Maybe the gravel bike deserves a spin round there . Although me thinks it could get a little rough and a mtb bike would be more fun.

B group , target time= Don’t get burnt to crisp! But as I am most probably going to ride (hang on to) with @NotSoBigBen i should be cushty ????

9.5 degrees this morning....only warmed up about 7:30. Then it got warm quickly . Good solo ride , enjoy the earlier rides when I can get up. Not much choice at the moment, the sunburn is killer.

As @NotSoBigBensaid ,start at the other gate . Makes it ever so slightly easier . Ride from the circus to sbr do the loop and back. Really a good ride. The 1st time you do sbr that last climb is just a mind f@k ????

The last climb is toughie, good test of your mental state when you do it the first time, in fact anytime really. Seems never ending & starts going up with little respite from the gate without really noticing it. I hate the first climb from the car park more to be honest.
