  1. That’s a bloody big shed mate . Now I know why you didn’t want one in your garden πŸ˜‚
  2. That rocky section gets a bit uncomfortable on a gravel bike. Since you rode it on Wednesday it’s way better πŸ‘Œ
  3. Blue shed πŸ‘Œ but will be honest ,never seen the β€œblue shed”
  4. Sounds like the perfect gravel ride 😁 with scenery.
  5. It was until just around the corner 😬 then it got a bit rocky . But the guy in his grader was on his lunch break. That road was horrible, thankful for the grader 😁
  6. Just plain Gravel. No spectacular sea or mountainous background πŸ˜”
  7. Good to see you this morning mate 😎
  8. Is what they are 🀀
  9. Oh and the wife’s banana bread during a ride πŸ‘ŒπŸ€€
  10. Damn those woolies hot cross buns are soooo good. Have never taken anything beforehand,so this is new for me. Do find it helps though. Only bought the Biogen sweet potato as it was on special for R100. I don’t often buy recovery drinks as I can’t justify the cost to myself.
  11. I love a good bit of rump 😁
  12. I have found that a double shot of this all natural biogen sweet potato recovery / endurance shake before a ride has seemed to help me. Have done a few longer rides than usual of late and I took this before . I obviously also eat my usual muesli . Also use a single shot of 250ml for recovery as well. Not sure if it’s the placebo effect but a 90 km mtb ( Longish mtb ride for me) ride on Sunday and felt fairly strong ( for me) throughout . Oh and it tastes sh#te . Did use 2 gels and a cheap energy bar whilst riding , endurade raw from spar. Find them easy to digest. Had 32Gi sport chew bar with me but didn’t need it,which was surprising to say the least. Riding time was just over 4hrs so something is helping me thinks. oh and the biogen sweet potato shake is cheap in comparison to other makes. just my 2c. And I am not a vegan or vegetarian.
  13. I want a Pete’s Diner milkshake 🀀
  14. I have power saddles on my gravel/road & mtb bike. The power saddles took a while to find the perfect spot on each of them . I use a digital level on phone to get it spot on. I can't ride anything else than the 155 power saddle. And they are the older ones as well l As for bibs ,use ciovita . Corsa & supremo, the latter is the best bib I own. Also have road & mtb Assos , a Poc a mavic and I can tell you the supremo is brilliant. Although I think the best thing I did was buy a med rather than a large and it’s a proper snug fit. I am 6 ft. The Assos rallye is a phenomenal piece of kit for gravel and mtb riding. The thigh pads have saved me twice . Although if your saddle is not for you or tilted correctly,no bib will work as designed. Time in the saddle is obviously invaluable but not as crucial as correct saddle. Just my take though.
  15. Pretty damn windy with a fresh nip in the air. At least it’s not raining πŸ₯³

  18. Ditto, wanted to enter but R1200 and the hassle of logistics is just seeming to be a stretch at the minute. Plus my nippers cricket prize giving on that Saturday. πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
  19. Yeah. Works perfectly πŸ‘Œ love it .
  20. Testing the new 32’s on the road and gravel / mud. Things got a tad sketchy at the end. 😁
