  1. I see plenty guys mix oko with stans, and then put it in.Does this affect longevity of the stans?seal better?
  2. Powerade concentrate is ok,and throw in some gel for raceday..cytopower doesnt agree with me Bushmaster2009-11-09 11:11:02
  3. Its hard to compare the two due to the variables, but on an indoortrainer the best way to train is using a heartrate monitor, and training in certain heart rate zones..distance isnt the big factor on the indoor trainer, focus on cadence and heartrate, intensity, etc.
  4. u get these sprays for a motorbike visor to prevent fogging, its cheap as well..would it hurt the lenses?is it the actual ingredient or is it the propellant that causes the damage?
  5. Ok so judging by the posts,it seems that either you get occasional batches of tyres thats the problem,or batches of stans..what is it?and stabilizing the latex, does that mean keeping it liquidy?
  6. What pedals you got?my shimanos squeek when the cleats get a bit dirty
  7. I used tyre liners ,and stops most sharp objects, what whent through was a long shard of glass, and those big acacia tree thorns..the SLIME brand are pretty light
  8. The spd got adjustable, tension, easy 2 clip in
  9. What model pedal?505 or 520..
  10. To the people who use slime tubes, did your'l ever experience the slime sealing the holes,or is the tyre just doing a good job?
  11. i dont think putting that in road tubes is a good idea,at 8 bars will it seal?if u have many punctures put a good set of tyres on
  12. Some guys seem to like it,it may not work for the bigger holes, long term go tubeless!
  13. Holdfast makes the clip on as well
  14. I tried white lightning epic on my road bike and am amazed with it,yes it makes it black and im very happy with it..it isnt a wax lube, very liquidy.
  15. I havnt ridden them yet,but by the way people buy them im sure they good..One guy said they not very good in the wet(wasnt made for that).,Couple a guys run 2.4 mountain king in front with a 2.2 raceking in the rear, and are happy
  16. The seatpost/rail mounted holder would be the best option..you get the bracket that fits on and you put your own cage/cages,then you get the whole gizmo with cages included and space for canisters etc.,and its much more comfy than 3 bottles in ur pockets, its what the triathlon guys use
  17. Wouldnt changing to vees only be necassary if they problematic or are high maintanance or no braking power?
  18. Mtbing is addictive..!It may not get any cheaper, but most of the money being spend from now on would be on upgrading and goodies..enjoy and try not letting the figures get to you!
  19. Probably a bit of dirt causing the noise, i know sintered pads can also be noisy .Check the caliper and disk, maybe 1 of them isnt tightened properly
  20. I changed from a riser to a straight bar on my hard tail,no regrets, feels much more responsive,it may not be your set up,body positioning could be a factor too..the best would be to experiment and see what works for you
  21. Unless you getting it at a good price or want to spoil your self,i dont think its worth it..you wont feel the weight difference, only visible on the scale
  22. Mampara put it nicely..another thing you should consider ,is your bike a hardtail /ds?are you willing to sacrifice a more responsive position for comfort..and a guy with very narrow shoulders shouldnt be riding a long bar just because it may work for some one else..
  23. Sounds like they want to sell more than needed.I doubt those chainrings and cassette really do need replacing..Check it and see how worn the cassete and rings are.It may be a general rule to change the cassete and chainrings when replacing the chain, but is not always a necassity
  24. Its an awsome feeling after training hard and doing that,Lance was spot on when he said that
  25. Ok,was just checking if anybody close by does it
