  1. Hey Holy, why the road handle bars on the mtb? Wait, hang on...rigid fork? Is that a road bike with noblies? A holy hibrid?
  2. Quite a big audience! Lol! Also, if I were you I would fall back into the mud with my right side. Evens out the look!
  3. Cattle dip...Is that the big ditch on the 4x4 route? Close to the river?
  4. My sportstracker.... http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=1909214 However, my battery died and it didn't upload any of my photos...
  5. Yeah, fortunately yesterday was quite. Some police were visible at fountains, but no issues. All I heard at Groenkloof were the birds chirping and my tires churning mud!
  6. Spent the day at Groenkloof with the family yesterday. Did about 40km through the reserve. They introduced some extra single track against the Botha Ave fence. 2 new bridges with a lot of technical sections. Absolutely awesome! Rest of non cyclists went on the 4x4 track. Made some boerie rolls afterwards, had some cold ones. Fantastic day! Some pics... Some zebra on the track Pretoria in the distanceJustin2009-12-28 01:40:24
  7. Sorted! Hows that for hubber sharing and caring? Pay it forward! Will PM details. Thanks a lot stringbean.
  8. Where are you based? I'll definitely take them off your hands. Also, I noticed my two forks (RST and FOX) require different size bolts...
  9. I didn't know what it was called... Thanks
  10. I recently acquired a Fox F80 RL. I decided to send it in for a service before fitting it. After the service I installed the fork and realised that the Lockout and Rebound adjuster levers don't change anything!?! Surely I should be able to notice the difference from Lockout/rebound set to NOTHING and Lockout/rebound set to FULL? Should I take it back to my lbs to re-service, or is that just how a Fox F80 RL is? Justin2009-12-23 12:39:51
  11. No idea what they are called? I couldn't even find them on CRC! That's like not finding something on google!
  12. The bolt that screws into the fork. The v-brakes then screw into it... Where can I get a set of them and what are they called? Please help!
  13. I'm also keen. Let me know when.
  14. Hi guys/gals I have, according to my bike specs, a semi-cartridge bottom bracket. I want to remove it, but don't know what tool to use. Parktool doesn't seem to cover this kind of BB. Also, how do I remove the peg in the middle? The one that connects to the cranks? With a hammer? Any ideas? Thanks Justin2009-12-22 00:38:31
  15. I did, however I think JB is on holiday or something. No reply as yet.
  16. Nothing like anal probes!
  17. I'm in Centurion. Thanks, will phone up my local motorbike shop.
  18. Hi all Where can I get a seal kit (locally) for my fox F80 RL shock? Also, where do I get the oil to use for a refill? Thanks
  19. Hi guys My Fox F80 RL's lockout cap (the thingy screwed over the lockout lever) is gone. Where can I get one of these? Thanks Thanks
  20. Hi guys/gals What is your opinion on the SRAM chain link thingy. Is it better than using a chain breaker to link/unlink a chain? Thanks
  21. The pink clashes with his red beard.
  22. Thanks guys for all the imput. RodTi, I currently have a Mongoose Tyax frame...not too flash, but certainly fine for my riding. I have decided to skip the small upgrades, save a bit more money and splash on a decent fork. Cannot wait!
  23. Yes, only V-brake. Thing is, currently my wheelset and casette is fine. I'm happy with 24spd. My fork however is atrocious.
  24. Hi I have a V-brake setup bike. All entry level parts. Rims are Alex rims, Kenda Kamodo tires, shifters shimano ez fire, casette 8spd, fork RST Gila Coil (very crap fork). So, I currently have the option to upgrade wheelset to tubeless (Mavic and bontrager, xt hubs, racing ralph tires) , the shifters to XT shifter/brake combo, 9spd slx casette and chain ...for R2000 or Upgrade fork to RST First Air fork for R2100? What to do, what to do?Justin2009-12-10 03:01:02
  25. Hi I'm upgrading to 9spd, but don't know which casette to go for. The Shimano SLX or the SRAM PG980? Both same price on crc. Also, is the SLX casette so much better than the normal Shimano Deore casette (R120 cheaper)? Thanks
