    My idea was to replace the headset cap, attached a third bottle cage mount on seatpost for the third bottle mounting of swat kit with the cage with mounting point. Is there a bottle cage mount and seatpost clamp in one on the market?

    After a few months, what is the report back from users of the SWAT kit? Will other manufacturers follow? Is it possible to add SWAT kit to seatpost? Have only seen the system once, quick measurement about 38cm with bottle included,so probably will only fit xl bikes on seatpost. What do you guys think or am I crazy. I now saddle bags does the same,just like the look of being part of the bike.

    Thanks Iwan. Appreciate your input. Read reviews about X9, all complaining about engagement...do not exactly know what they mean by engagement,not to techical minded. Is it transferring power from chain to casette to hub after freewheeling and then powering again?

    Thanks Pain or Shine It is a call between Vipa and Cube AMS 100 race. I have only seen one 1x10 in our region, but I am thinking of doing it. It is flat,think you will be running out of gears, got stuck on my 44 big ring and did hole race, ups, downs, straights in that gear. Thinking 34/36( not sure if you get 36) for NC and 32 for rest of country.

    Thank you Cpt. Was still holding on to my 2007 Sworks Epic 26er. In the Northern Cape we have no climbs, just plan flat, not to much technical, we have a few km's of build up track, but on the districts roads I just can't keep up with 29ers.

    Iwan I would appreciate your input. Following your Vipa build from the beginning. I like to Vipa,can get a Vipa with budget build,affraid it will not do the bike justice,would like to hear what you think? Meduim frame, monarch shock Rock Shox Reba RL X9 rear derailleur X7 front derailleur X7 shifters Avid elixir 3 brakes Ztr arch rim with X9 hubs PG 1030 casette Momsen finishing kit, doubt the nice carbon bar and downer stem I have no idea what the bike will weight, hoping for below 12kg Much appreciated.

    Zabel, perhaps ask admin to move to buyers guide. Hi-jack on: I am also interested in the Cube AMS 100. Wahoofish, your comment, do you think the bb is to low,causing a lot of peddle knocks and bumps?

    Agree with old Addict. Carbon layup is the same as my 2008 Plasma, think they call it 12k.
