  1. So.... How deep does this rabbit hole go? Blue pill or red one? Hmmmmmmm..........
  2. You can change the amount of posts per page, adjust till you get the right numbers...
  3. Ahhh, I miss read the post. Andrew - we still need clarification on my earlier post. When did you mate know it was a fake? Before or after he bought it? What actions are being taken?
  4. Read it again, and then Andrew clarified in a later post. His mate got his loot back.
  5. Andrew, I think your first line is misleading? Did your friend willingly buy one, did he know it was a fake when he bought it? Or when did he find out it was a fake? This needs clarification.
  6. Ja, I actually think there is a valid point here. The norm should always be single file, the exception for the roll over. I been thinking back to a mate and me on a similar road, we rode almost next to each other, his front wheel was in line with my rear wheel. So like 30 degrees off. Come to think of it, we rode like for a long time... Then he took me out on the end climb... Me thinks this won't be happening again! Anyway, back on topic, we had lots of space, and it was a very comfortable and we chatted, and he slipstreamed me all the way... Probably 30% wider than single file. But way better than that.
  7. This thread for the yearly thread win! And it's only April.
  8. Hmmm, interesting comments, will follow this thread.
  9. All over 702, everybody's talking about it... Sjoe, this things going supersonic...
  10. I "dibbs'ed" and got. Thanks Marq001.
  11. Does it have to have the "rainbow" straps... might want a pink bike for those straps...
  12. Should be able to change that, find the settings and look for a better format.
  13. Its often used by older POS systems to create documents. Normally though that it couldn't be changed... the days before Photo Shop could make clothes see-thu. It does have some interesting exif data, but that probably because I can't get to the source.
  14. Hmmm.... Fake Bike! and an invoice that looks like that... What is up with these guys??
  15. Ok, so whats actually going on here?? We have someone accusing a bike shop of selling a fake. He has put it to us, that it is a confirmed fake. not grey import. He confirmed that he was un-aware it was fake when he bought it. He hasn't confirmed the price he paid, but has alluded to it being full, and complete retail associated with the real thing. - this is where my ethics get wiggled... The bike shop has to be aware of this thread by now, but no response from them. So in my industry, there are many knock-off artists. We steer clear of the brands, but they make no bones that it is a knock-off, even copying the smallest thing on the items and brands they are knocking-off. If we see the knock-off items, we show the client the original item, and they can see the difference. But they will always know that they saved money, some times a lot of money, with the imitation, but its quality is not where it should be. So. If the shop was selling the bike as the real deal at the price the genuine bike retails for, then they were trying to fleece him, that's fraud and the biggest FAIL!! If the shop made it clear that it was a knock-off, and charged accordingly, BUYER BEWARE!! I can't see the grey line, but I also don't see a win situation. He said, she said could get very horrible here... ** Disclaimer ** the term Knock-off, used with discretion.
  16. He did say he thought about it for 3 months. Went in, fondled it, etc... But researching for a fake? I can't say I have ever done that.
  17. Nice post ^^ I agree with most of it. But I personally think that the trail could be in better shape. A lot of the time I found myself just dodging the shape rocks.
  18. While we have you... Those tire size chart things are still, ummm, useless. Kudos to Rodney.
