  1. Or feed one... One feeds a troll by replying to the stoopid post the troll made. This tread is full of trolls, and there was some feeding, but I have to say that Hubbers are actually very good at keeping trolls on a strict diet.
  2. Something that lives under a bridge and steels your bike when you stop to take a pic of your bike on the bridge... Nah, A troll is someone looking to insight a response, by posting something beyond controversial. http://en.wikipedia....Troll_(Internet)
  3. There is a simple question to ask a fly fisher... How many permit have you caught? If the answer is, "I don't know" you have a story teller. Every fly fisher know exactly how many permit they have caught. I have, um, none. I am changing that in July!! And not that inferior Ido-pacific one, the real one, the Mexican Gulf one. I do have many other species in my log book, but that one, she not there yet!!
  4. Colour, Size and Distinguishing Tattoos...
  5. Okay - With the OP trial back on, we need to clear this up. OP is AA, and AA is a good guy... OP is a different guy, and not such a good guy... Now I don't know if OP has any relations with CS, cause they both seem to think the same, stoopidly, but I know that AA does not... apart from some fleecing that he seems to have had done on him... Please don't get your OP's mixed up, it's not lekker for AA. CS on the other hand, still stands for Caak Stoopid. Klaar.
  6. Oh, you have the best ideas...
  7. Reonh, you need to tell us where.
  8. I see your problem... You should have fixed it to the handle bars... Or, as I would have done, fixed it to someone else's bike.
  9. Hey Nico I spend time in Rhodes every year guiding people who want to fly fish in the rivers and streams that the area is well known for. The Rhodes Hotel has closed, don't know if it will open again?? Walkerbouts is a great place, Dave and his team run a fine establishment. I like it, as it is the most central place to stay. They offer full board, dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch (packed, if needed). The pub is festive and beer very cold. http://www.walkerbouts.co.za/ Rubicon has also closed, and again, I don't know if it will open again. Tenahead is one of the most stunning 5 star lodges I have know of. High in the mountains, and right at the start of the Bell river. http://www.riverhotels.co.za/tenahead/ You can also stay at Tiffendell, but as with Tenahead, it is also very high up... http://www.tiffindell.co.za/ Thus nice easy ride out, but you are going to phone a friend on the way back... There is a lot of self catering accommodation, both in town and just outside. http://www.rhodesvillage.co.za/ And some stunning farms to stay at. http://www.gateshead.co.za/home http://www.ballochcottages.co.za/ And then Wartrails is also good. http://www.wartrail.co.za/ ------------------------------------------------------------ So where?? If you only have a few days, Walkerbouts or self-catering in Rhodes. If you have 10'ish days. 3 days at Walkerbouts. 3 days at Balloch. 3 days at Gateshead. Although I'm fly fishing bias... you will still love it. ----------------------------------------------------------- Rides? From Rhodes to Naudes neck - Out of Category. Just one little climb on the way back, just a cat 1. http://www.strava.com/segments/1293417 From Rhodes to Tiffendell - Out of Category. Straigh back to Rhodes all down hill, back via Wartrails, some really cool riding on that one, long enough break to recover and enjoy, then some hills, not too bad. http://www.strava.com/routes/177548 From Rhodes, up the Bok Spruit, really cool ride, mixed. If you stay at Balloch, there are some killer rides in that area, and your up'ish already. Gates Head, just go recover and take in the views... That's what I got... Hope it helps.
  10. Yip. We been saying that in the shop for the last week. Stoopid is a stoopid does...
  11. Did you get down on your hands and knees to check the BB??
  12. I watched an "Air Crash Investigations" must have been a year ago, where a part had failed and cause a plane to go down. Turns out that 40% of the parts found in the repairs and refurbish departments of the airlines in the states were found to be fakes, copies, etc... frightening stuff. And almost non of the guys buying them knew they were knock-offs. Here's the Wikki Page http://en.wikipedia....nair_Flight_394
  13. @AA, et al... This is the classic case of don't get mad, get even!! Kudos to AA!
  14. Yip, then he would have been happy that he had the real deal... Then the war would start between the import agent, and the bike shop, on a lot of issues, least of which is support for the existing "grey" customers...
  15. He never attacked me... but I'm big enough and ugly enough to defend myself... but more importantly, cleaver enough not to make stupid comments like the crud we are seeing from these other NOOB's... #boguespaintsamightyfinescooter
  16. Andrew, dude, did you really spend R91k with guys who look like that? And, I don't get top-end bike shops, why do you dress the way you do? I would hate to do R100k's business with someone in a T-shirt and baggies. Show some respect, your taking a lot of my hard earned money! Anyway... Snap! Now how do we figure out which other shops are doing the same? Were they bring this stuff in by them selves or is some distributing it? Hmm, me sees more washing that needs to Omo.
  17. That was not what I expected. I thought she would serious "put it to them " I think they got off lightly. Still end result, as I said in another post, he said, she said.
  18. Putting this post to mark the start of the CB insert... Post count restart.
  19. This is going to be interesting! Just from that snippet...
