E.g. some of the okes way of asking Samma to change his avatar was EISH, others was decent. Jissie, the word please was taught to us from a young age!!!! If you loose your manners on the Hub, rather loose your password as well ok, PLEASE!!!! As for the Hub in general, I've made more friends, had more fun, learnt more, and parted with my limited knowledge here. So if you're new, please look and SEE what the post and people are about, and then start moaning and reporting!!!! You might realise (after reading a bit) that some ppl are friends, although it doesn't look like it (ou spidey, jy's ok as jy net meer gereeld bad!)

My biggest gripe is that the 'looks' of the bike changes year in and out. I had one of the first RC8000 (D/A 9 speed). Great bike, but the very next year it was k@k as the "new" one came out. NOT NICE!

As for the rest, hijackings, etc are part of the Hub. But an easy way to check whether it's ok to post stuff is to ask whether it would be acceptable to the general public (het ek dit reg gese?). 10 people might not find it offensive, but 30 will. E.g. On the topic of chains, the new SRAM 10 speed "chain link" works on Campy, SRAM and Shimano (as per BigBen). I know Steven won't like this, but it works!!! And it's the best thing since sliced bread.

A poll to see how many hubbers have actually ridden (and I don't mean a test ride around the parking lot) both Campag and Shimano and still prefer one or the other. And by Campag and Shimano I mean Record and Dura-Ace - one can't compare Veloce to Ultegra or 105 to Record. But how many people out there have actually had an opportunity to ride both and be in the position to make a qualified decision before ripping either one off? Only the pro's? Me thinks not many. Nothingness, been there, done that. Have ridden the following: Shimano Dura-Ace, Campy Chorus and SRAM Red. Each one has it's own advantages and disadvantages. E.g. I don't like the way the Shimano hoodies feel. They are too bulky and uncomfortable for me (I don't have big hands). On the other hand, the parts are easy to get hold of. And so I can go on and on and on. It's purely a "what I like and don't like" scenario. As for oom H, he's just rattling a cage or 2. Easy!!!!! He gets under everyone's skin every now and then, but it's easy to ignore him. And he's not really that bad, although he rides a "less than good" groupset!
