Here is a list of features as described on the box. SUNSHINEFASHIONABLEINDIVIDUALHEALTHYVOGUE GLASSESHEALTH LIFEANTI FOGANTI SHAKEHIGH IMPACTANTI TIREDANTI RADIATIONULTRAVIOLET RAYSMUCH WOWVERY POWERSUCH STRONGOkay I made up the last 3 but the rest is legit. I saw the box in store and had a chuckle as I read it. Then opened it up and quite frankly I can't see much a difference in quality between these and my 100% goggles. Changing lenses really is a pain so at least I wont have to bother on a cloudy day. I'll just wear these...
  2. I just placed a parts only order myself a week ago. Breakdown below. Hope it helps. http://i.imgur.com/8D2Jsi9.png http://i.imgur.com/DKpg4hK.png
  3. yep. 93% off! Crazy how lucky I am with parts lately. I really need that spring....
  4. A classic! Always considered the Minion as genesis for modern mountain bike tyres. The 'koek drukkertjie' all the other grip intended designs came from.
  5. In your defense they look very similar...
  6. I opted for DHL express through CRC for only R100 more than usual shipping. So it should be here soon enough for me to slap em on. The Wolverine on my rear is probably 50% done (my second one) and I'm a little tired of the Bronson in front. Its not a bad tyre. Its just not great. Especially in the dusty conditions we've been having lately.
  7. How do you find them? Good enough to buy again instead of trying something else?
  8. I'm sure. I just think these are a more imaginative choice. I see more value in trying something different for myself and seeing the results as apposed to just going with what everyone likes.
  9. Yes! I went Rock'R front and Grip'R rear though.
  10. http://i.imgur.com/VDeT0wa.png Probably the best value for money purchase I ever made for a bike...
  11. http://i.imgur.com/mhYXGTq.jpg Just bought a new set of takkies for the trail bike. This is the front tyre. Can you guess what it is?
  12. Make sure there aren't any more. They breed quickly.
  13. Aren't you forgetting something? http://www.letour.com.au/assets/alt_1/TW-MAXXIS-SPHINX-26-X-2-1.jpg
  14. Hairy. The topic of colour coding came up recently. Since you're on Aquaman's bike. I'm curious to see if you're rocking matching colours on the catwalk this season.
  15. That's not fair. If Oubaas can experience the joy of single track because an e-bike enables him to do so then why not? The trail destruction argument doesn't seem like a fair point to me either. I wonder how many of those arguing this point ever picked up a spade... Half of us on regular bikes ruin the trails too. I've seen too many people lock up their rear wheel on corners instead of just riding them. Its not an e-bike specific problem.
  16. I love how e-bikes broaden the sport's target audience. It makes cycling more inclusive. It gives more people the opportunity to experience the outdoors. That's great. I think its also a great training tool for athletes. But these are becoming quite popular. I would be curious to see how many of the people who buy these simply sold on the easier alternative. People who are considering an e-bike as their next bicycle. Because if you are. I think that's just a terrible injustice to ones self. I hate climbing. I'll never like it. Ever. But once I reach the top, gasping for air, wiping my tears, calling the wife and kids. Its not long before I can feel those endorphins. The euphoria one feels after a tough slog. Throw in a cool breeze at high altitude, drying the sweat on my brow. And the taste of fresh chilled water. Man it feels good. Its not just the joy of descent. Its that feel good sensation post physical exhaustion I don't want to give up.
  17. This looks great. But at 750 grams its only 200 grams lighter than my fullface. While its a significant improvement for something you wear on your head. A 200 gram saving is hardly enough for it to be touted as an all day climb friendly full face. Not when its STILL double the weight of any half lid. And at R5,400? I'd rather have the versatility of a convertible lid.

  19. What phone do you have? That's a pretty neat photo.
  20. A silver one with a pike?
  21. Myles! Are you talking in the 3rd person? Because remember. I'm the protagonist in this story...
  22. Are you running a wide range 1x10? I'm considering doing this with my glory. Already have a single crown up front and wondered if climbing it (however slow that may be) was even possible.
