  1. NO IRON SIGHTS! My only problem with CSGo I just can't. I slogged through Doom trying to give an old refreshed fps the benefit of the doubt. And Quake Champions had me frothing for a release date. From the gameplay trailers it looks like they nailed the classic fast paced mechanics of previous games. And iron sights really have no place in a game like Quake. But. Doom made me realise that iron sights is so ingrained in my gameplay that my enthusiasm for Quake champions has been watered down. I don't know if I'll buy it. Which is kinda sad.
  2. Its worse, If I play battlefield at night. I won't get up early for a ride.
  3. Its been a couple weeks since I submitted. Still waiting...

  5. True. But I didn't mind at all. I loved the second installment. I was on some 18% cough syrup and antibiotics so the less thinking I had to do the better. If an Australian in a loincloth showed up asking if I was entertained I would not have been surprised and would probably have responded positively. Yes! I think the sequels direction had more to do with David Litch leaving the second installment to go and direct Deadpool 2. Leaving his stuntman buddy to direct the movie.
  6. Last weekend I binged through some movies at home to help me get over a bout of flu. I watched both John Wicks back to back. The plot, characters and acting are about as deep as a kiddy pool. But man did it make up for that. The pace is almost exhausting and the gruesome fight scenes are surprisingly well directed with some refreshing cinematography. Bordering on over the top violence but not quite spilling over into Tarantino territory. I loved it.
  7. These are the games I finished in this year. https://youtu.be/QxDHwdr8NkI 6/10 https://youtu.be/dNveepeEjNY 7/10 https://youtu.be/e_q-s3QdmU8 8/10 https://youtu.be/2GIVVsTKTLg 9/10 https://youtu.be/6d60v1OErEY 8/10 https://youtu.be/RO90omga8D4 6/10 What I'm playing now https://youtu.be/KyNYbVPSs38 I'm about halfway through but I'll give this game a solid 8. In some ways its simply superb but there small things inherent in the games design which prevent it from being one of the best games ever.
  8. Man... I was hooked!

  10. It looks like its straight out of the 90's. What did it cost and what are some of the titles? HD out? Cartridge only?
  11. Some great classics are often overlooked in favour of bigger more memorable titles. But this was superb to watch again. Leon, The Professional and in some places the movie even goes by the name Matilda. Jean Reno is probably one of the most underrated actors imo. Natalie Portman makes her acting debut as teenage Matilda. and nobody quite does this particular blend of deranged villains quite like Gary Oldman https://youtu.be/74BzSTQCl_c
  12. So who's Kirk and who's Bones?
  13. For me, its always nice to know in advance about the bikes I won't be able to afford anyways.
  14. If you're not hellbent on being a purist. There are some great retro plug and play emulator consoles available that won't break the bank. Gaming goodness of yesteryear in a modern console that meets contemporary standards like HDMI outputs etc. Some of which even work with old cartridges. But the cheaper ones usually have a bunch of preloaded roms for good measure. My favourite ones are those freestanding all in one arcade machines. Which include the classic 2 players joystick and button layouts from the 80's and a CRT screen. All wrapped in melamine goodness. The only thing missing is the coin slots. Pricey though.
  15. Our little tyre hustler is all grown up. I could not be any prouder. Congrats Evan! May you have many little spez riding groms with wrist beads and washboard abs.
  16. Becoming a resourceful little bugger aren't you...
  17. Lets be frank. Nothing else matters. Come July all other series can take a back seat where they belong. Trying to be king when the Ace is back...
  18. https://youtu.be/moAZ3AsyhLU Man I miss the 90s
  19. No. Its just the how the suspension is able to progress along its stroke. When an air shock compresses it becomes increasingly difficult for the shock to reach the end of its stroke because of pressure build up. So its compression curve is more progressive while a coil shock is more linear. So an air shock moving from its initial to mid stroke feels 'softer' than when it moves from its mid to end stroke. While a coil shocks progression through its entire stroke feels more predictable. Of course there are all sorts of nifty little tech solutions to help deal with this like spez's brain and MRP ramp control. That's just my basic understanding of how it works. I'm sure those more clued up could rectify me
  20. I know they're different companies. But a fox suspension t-shirt would be so much cooler than the usual fox head apparel. ie: This instead of this http://trailheadcyclery.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Fox_Head_logo-512x189.png
  21. I remember this show. It was painful to watch and I think I gave it 3 episodes before quitting. I was a huge fan of Boston Legal. My favorite legal series to date. Blacklist made me realise that it wasn't so much James Spader I was fond of. But rather the onscreen chemistry between him and William Shatner. If I remember correctly. Boston Legal was actually a spin off from another legal drama called The Practice. William Shatner was cast in recurring guest roll as the eccentric Danny Crane. That's where the chemistry started. Boston Legal was a little more tongue in cheek though. A legal drama peppered with occasional humour. With much of its focus centered around the relationship between Danny Crane and Alan Shore. I preferred Boston Legal to The Practice but loved both shows.
  22. Claire Temple! The centre of the Marvel's Netflix universe.
