  1. the combo im running at the moment is probably the one im gonna stick with till i actually need to replace them. xking 2.4 rear. minion dhf 2.5 upfront. together they roll fine. not as fast as the ardents upfront but man can that minion grip. there is however an issue. an issue that im sure the right rear tyre can probably sort out but i wont risk changing it just yet. theres this dead spot in the grip of the minion when riding off camber stuff or turning at certain angles. you lean, lean, lean and it grips, grips grips, then for what is probably a nano second it feels like it might slide out ever so slightly then once you lean some more it grips again. the minions love super low pressures. not sure exactly what psi i have them at. i trust my palms enough to know how i want my tyres to feel. ive never slid out though. not once. just feels like it will. a little unnerving but you learn to trust it. i will buy the minion for the front again.

  5. Look I know how you feel about the process. It would be my first choice too. But the sx really isn't a compromise. Where as the rest of your (realistic) choices are. The trigger? Cmon we both know you don't want that. I'm looking for a car at the moment. So yesterday a friend of mine had one of his dealers deliver a car for me to check out. The car is everything I want at an unbeatable (favour for a friend) price. I loved the drive. But I think I'm going to tell him no because I don't like the colour. Point is, either way you slice it. you gonna have to wait. Might aswell wait for what you really want. My personal choice in order of preference. Process, Rune, SX

  14. Does the new anthem come stock with a 120mm fork? I noticed it also has a slacker head compared to previous models. Possibly a lower bb as well? Its not an out an out xc bike anymore is it? Is Giant pushing their dual suspension bikes to be more trail orientated? It seems like a trend these days. It's as if the new anthem is the old trance and the new trance is the old reign.
