  1. This one at full blast. Wait for it...
  2. I would. Maybe once a month or every two months. Those things are low on my priority list ATM as I short many things on my bike and my kit. But It would be nice to see what I can do. While you at it also offer to analyze the readings and give advice or team up with such a person. I can see how looking at the data would confuse a person like me. And Price is king!!!
  3. Yes. I misunderstood.
  4. Bum Cream discussion was last week.
  5. In time... for now I am invested in nappies and baby products. But be sure when that Titan is replaced I'll have some skill.
  6. If I was riding that long ago to have met my wife on a bike, I'd be a champion by now and had a wife that understood the urge. ............ I LOVE MY WIFE..................
  7. Try some free foods like green veg with meals. I hope you aint just eating 370g a day total. As far as I know the aim is to not starve yourself.
  8. Entertainment is necessary. Two okes rode me down once on a long straight dirt road. I had music on and when thei caught me the one guy slapped me on the back and made a noise. I almost whetted the road but luckily the guys smiled and I was having an awesome day. From that time I am a bit more vigilant.
  9. Just start something I'm sure we can change the subject very quickly. Am surprised it stayed on topic so long
  10. Like keeping up with Roadies who are in for a slow ride. They hate that. Also close to home I have my sections where I dump whatever I have left in me before I go home. You go past them and you can see they are annoyed with you. Aspecially If you burn out a while later and they pass you again. But then I feel stupid. Sometimes you are just riding your game. But I love the idea of rabbits. Now I'll visualize rabbits when I see someone in front of me.
  11. Then you get guys standing still next to a trail on an uphill nogals. Starts asking for directions or starts a conversation long enough to get you stopping. I found such a guy last weekend and he did not ask but said he will follow me. Now I'm no climber but this young man just could not keep up and I lost him in about 200 M. After a while I found him in front of me in the trail again ????? This time I greeted and just kept on going. Nice guy and all but fook I'm riding on borrowed time from the family.
  12. So you are riding alone with no rider near you for 2 hours all of a sudden a rider/s pop infront of you from a side road. You manage to keep up for a while comfortably. Should you ride up and ask to join them... Just pretend you are riding the same route and follow them until they notice you ... or Give them their privacy. How do you feel about strangers on the road. Is it a nuisance, appreciated or do you sommer start pedaling faster to shake them off.
  13. As jy op die saal sit en hy raak hard is dit die regte fiets vir jou
  14. If you have a hard tail buy a DS but keep the hard tail. Have two bikes and see which one you enjoy most. If you dont have a bike then start with a DS bike if you want an easy life or buy a HT to learn things the hard way and be better for it. BUT SERIOUSLY have two bikes...lol
  15. Whats that bike called again. Its a trail bike but when you flip the switch it becomes hard. Urmmm umm...
  16. Yup Kalahari gave me a release date of 30 June this year May while the books were already widely available. As my wife did the order on her e-bucks she decided to wait it out. We then received the book two weeks after the "release date".
  17. The high duties on textiles are there to protect the SA textiles industry that the unions F'ed up a few years ago. But it seems like local brands are riding this and overcharging. I now rely on good Samaritans to buy while overseas. The changing season in Europe from Summer to Winter has good in store bargains not available on the web. It is bad enough we have to pay a child's education fund for a bicycle but it seams every aspect of cycling equipment you buy afterwards is designed to bankrupt you. It is as unfair as doping.

  19. There was an article in some newspaper I think Raport about the rise in the demand for cauliflower. But the big big roleplayers in SA have really f'ed over our dairy industry over the last two decades. That expensive butter is imported and the local stuff can not be called grass fed. Usually during the milking process the cows in SA are fed something to boost production. I recon same thing happens in Ireland in some form. Cows needs heaps of nutrients to produce commercially viable quantities of the white stuff.
  20. They come in 120 140 and 160. I am going to do very bad things to get this bike. The 120 is also the 29r version
  21. Seems like good advice. I hope SARS do not close that loop soon
  22. Anyway I am about to buy a Reverb post for R2300 / Kr 1500. The bike will have to wait till I go myself.
  23. It does not always translate well on typed communication. Then again most of me an the misses fights start this way. My filter is set at 50%.
  24. Het jy die bike gesien? Sy is dit werd. Gan sommer al daar begin toer. In die somer in Swede sak die son nie rerig nie. Die fiets gan tweedehans wees met import.
  25. Will do this one. (Oom Zuma has his nkandla and I will have my bike)
