First prize in Saturday's Monument race in Paarl is a few R1000.. How do you determine the winner?? Fastest rider,whether in A or Z?Tandem----its a course designed for a very fast tandem time... As far as I know it is not a league ride,so if the B's can catch the A's first prize could go to a Brider or even lower down.. Maybe I should phone the organizers and ask them?Often they do not think of these little intricasies..

I dont know about that but it is important that we get a seeding race down in CT again! I seriously question the distances indicated for the middle and long route.No ways is the long route close to 80k's!!!!!!!!!Who measured it?

I have a gutfeel this is all going to fizzle out...Even if it goes so far that the providers are subpoena'd(spelling?)to provide names of those who they have supplied,those named will either deny or blame their pregnant wife/dog/parakeet. I guess only success will be when riders are caught in the act via positive tests and as stated by the expert Chunkey it is possible to run rings around these tests. Sigh
