  1. What I do on most of my rides. If in a group it helps to increase my "photo bank" with shots I'd normally not get or have time to of other riders. That being said, when not riding up ahead or catching up after photo'ing, I ride with the Levo off or at the most on Eco, which I've set at 10% power, just to take the edge off the weight a bit.
  2. you won't... you'd love it. pity you're on Zug... would like to introduce you to one
  3. guess it depends if you praat die taal or not. I'm ok with it dude.. "sticks and stones" PS.. ever ridden one? I highly recommend it if not. just once ... just for that one day of a lot of extra fun
  4. So this happened over the weekend as arranged by the Woesrand bunch and what was supposed to be a gathering of a few, turned into a mass "event"... 100 plus riders great fun touring the dirt roads from Silverstar to Tarlton
  5. I like riding my Ebike... I like it A LOT!! it's an insane amount of fun and an even insaner workout I get when riding it. I'm confused how being on an Ebike negatively affects anyone around the rider, unless said rider is a chop. a chop will be a chop no matter what he rides. I, am not a chop. I agree with the "not in races" point but... I respect all other riders as I do when on any other bike while riding my Levo. How do I negatively impact the environment or them while on it? If you don't like it or disagree with the concept, cool.. that's your right in the meantime I'll mind my own business on the trails and enjoy my Levo
  6. Thanks..managed to get one for peanuts too and as the others have mentioned, worked brilliantly when I was using my Macbook, just really like the space one would get from a "Zwifting Hospital Table" and that it can be wheeled around. I've been lucky enough to upgrade to a bigger screen and Apple TV now but I still like to have all sorts around me. old iPad using Cloud Baby to keep an eye on the little one sleeping while Zwifting. Old iPhone as my "controller" older iPhone if I feel like some Netflix while Zwifting and my phone to catch up on some emails and instagramming Overkill for some (ok ..most) perhaps, but it's how I like my ZwiftCave I'd stay away from this too! looks dodge AF you can also use an older Apple Tv and Airplay from your iPhone or Pad if that's what you're using to connect with.
  7. When our latest family member arrived in Feb... all I saw was a "Zwift stand" when at the hospital
  8. bliksem! nice I've read some pretty impressive times, that's right up there. best i think i read was 45/47 mins I'm yet to manage the time to do it, probably take me at least 90mins (just up)... still just squeezing my 30min sessions where I can
  9. where'd you get one of these?
  10. Popped down to Avianto (Biogen Sports Park) on Saturday quickly... the trails there are getting better and better all the time!! ANNND..... Fridays (except Public Holidays) are Free Ride Fridays. (VGesque tunnels)
  11. Cradle MTB loop and surrounding district roads for #NewBikeDay for what I think could quite possibly be the best bike I've ever ridden. A very bold statement to make but.... I think if ever forced into having to choose only ONE bike.. this could very well be it!
  12. Thanks Albatross
  13. WHMBTMT catch up time...... FUN Gaalen ,,,eventually I went "home" after a 3 month hiatus Avianto for a quick spin on Freedom day Cradlemoon's flippen awesome addition on the Yellow route. includes a trail THROUGH this beautiful old house
  14. A quick sunrise stint through Hobby Park on my way to work yesterday I never forget it, but standing there taking this pic I was just reminded what an amazing privilege it is to be able to ride a bike! #healthiswealth
  15. Disagree. When the takeover happened, for a while they were severely neglected and/or ripped apart. anyway.. I'm moving on.. finding places close by to spend time with my son is more important to me.
  16. Cradlemoon Lakeside Lodge.... Somewhere I vowed I'd not go back to.. but the missus asked if we could take our little one there to see the wildlife.. I'm glad I decided to listen to her.. Logan really enjoyed it... and that's all that important to me. Someone's been putting in some serious effort... a little bit of bushwhacking required in places, but nothing serious... otherwise, great stuff. Saturday, I went went scouting to make sure I could ride there with him if I took the bike. came across this guy on the Red route... The yellow route's been extended as have the property's boundry "walls" Sunday my Rockstar and I had went adventuring:-
  17. Easter weekend riding.. Good Friday was a great fRideDay at Avianto... and yesterday,in the Cradle.. was Good Saturday for sure This, imo, is the best piece of trail on the Cradle MTB loop while trying to take this shot We even got to see some famous podium placed Epic Grand Masters
  18. here's another bulk post of the last couple weeks... A drenching Cradle spin the weekend before this one that's just passed Then a detour through Hobby Park for sunrise on my commute to work on the public holiday last Wednesday Then back to the Cradle on Saturday to spend some time with the ever friendly tri's again Was nice to eventually see some blue sky while on the super fun Cradle MTB loop again.
  19. stunningl!! You live in such beautiful place! We MUST make a plan to visit again sometime..(this time when it's dry )
  20. Popped down to the Cradle to excitedly try the,now open, full MTB loop. I was too busy flying through the new sections to get any decent pics.. but... THEY ARE AMAZING! I can NOT wait to get to ride them again. The stretch down Beyers to Toadbury is filled with jumps and fun as is the section from Beyers down to Glenburn then awesome flowing ST back up to Bidon. What used to be the best part, From Bidon down to the Rhino/Lion circle.. is now a part of the best parts. Glenn Harrison is a magician!
  21. We, my little family and I, have a new house guest.... Tyler........that's keeping us all rather busy .. Well, it's more his almost 2 year old brother Logan that's keeping ME very busy as his mom's busy looking after Tyler (he thinks all bikes can be ridden like his dad's bigger one apparently) So my riding for now is rather limited. Being fortunate enough to a) have Hero Adventures at Hobby Park on my doorstep b) have this amazing bike I do I blitzed a half hour detour through Hobby on my commute to work on Saturday This bike ate this all up and spat it out...at pace... without flinching
  22. Probably mine... #notafanofhair
  23. Back to the Cradle yesterday to take my little guy out for his first ride there
  24. Not quite With new Baby being due in a week from tomorrow, even though VG isn’t far, I prefer to be closer.
  25. The Cradle..... I've always been a fan of the MTB "Loop" but these improvements are just WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! and the "loop" will become an actual loop So much work and effort gone and going into the trails. To the existing trails and the new ones to come. Super excited and privileged to have these on my doorstep Had to fight off the love, hugs, kisses and smiles from the triathletes as usual.
