    So.....will the Bulls fire from stage 1 or will they play it safe for 1 or 2 stages before going on the attack? By playing it safe I mean just stick to the field containing the top rated teams. Don't think this is really the way Platt approaches any race but lets see

    These entries normally fly! Love this race but opting for the Montagu Krakadouw race and making a wknd of it. Will def be back in 2017 for Darling race!! All the best!

    With the appropriate partner Suss will take out the spez girls as well in my opinion. The problem in the ladies cat is there are only a handful of capable ladies for a race like this. As a general combination Ariane and Annika are just lucky to be 2 of the few that paired up

    On the male side Bulls and Topeak are obviously favorites. Bulls slightly more so (but I go with topeak). My prediction for top spots Topeak Bulls Centurion Vaude Portu-Greek team (Periklas/Ferreira or something) Bulls 2 Topeak 2 Reid / Heyns Lill/Woolcock Telkom Bell / Combrink If Sauser and Gaze joined up I would have given them a top 5

    Sorry to say but with a good partner Dahle would probably kick the Spez ladies asses all over the show. I am also eager to see if Ariane has good form this year. It sure did not look like it leading up to the epic (she did have lots of mechanicals though) It is also my opinion that the biggest challenge will come from Spitz and co Hope De Groot and Stenerhag does well but I don't think they have the BMT for this

    In my opinion the future of trading bicycles will either be through a concept store or what canyon is doing which is selling directly to public online. I heard Trek is going the same route in US this year With the current recommended retail on bikes this is the only way the manufacturer can make a decent cut while still pushing out volume

    First off: if you want choice then don't shop at a concept store. Plain and simple. These shops are brand specific and cater for people who buys into the brand. You have a choice not to support 2nd: How is specialized a false interpretation of value? It is a good quality product. Their marketing is amazing driving home this perception with the customer as well. It is debatable about shops that stocked this brand in the past and was allegedly just dropped when they decided to open their own store in the area. We don't have all the facts so I can't judge here

    I am happy there is a cheap 1x11 sram cassette offering. I prefer the higher end derailer, shifter and crank to a point but I buy the cheapest cassette and chain. In my experience they last just as long. I don't mind the extra 50g odd
