    I love almost all things Italian but I have to say Pinarello probably is the bike brand that gets me least exited Also don't understand why they kit it out with shimano. It just seems wrong putting it on a Italian brand frame

    Yip! Ariane said she will be announcing her partner soon. It looks like the organisers are trying to spread the contention field. Guess that is the reason Jenny and Robyn are also not pairing up for epic. Good call (for a change)

    True to this! I had food poisoning once from a BP express pie (back in my student days). Never felt so k@k in my life (think at 1 stage I prayed to die...)

    I agree that at the end of the day it is the athlete's responsibility but...................... When you are dr at a sanctioned event and you treat the athletes you always have the athlete's best interest at heart (you took an oath anyway). Sometimes (I would think most times in serious conditions) these treatments probably contain some sort of a banned substance. My point is that surely the dr at these race must be clued up on what is banned or not and inform the athlete of the best treatment and that it contains a banned substance. Then it is the athletes responsibility if he wants it or not (and sign for it). This just makes sense to me

    Having this in my backyard I can honestly say this girl was flying up there. Yes the rest of us do the segments while doing the rest of the trails but even if you just had to go for this I can assure you this is 1 fcuking fast time!!!!

    If Schurter could be paired with a good rider then I think he would be one of my favorites. I think he is paired with a young Swiss

    Well he does not even have to come out of retirement to win it with Kulhavy. He was kicking pro ass during retirement as well. I would have loved a headline like: Retired ex pro and Kulhavy destroys epic field

    Well even if it is for 100th it is the same concept. It is stupid timing an event with a hand held scanner. Crossing the line with your partner but you have an 17sec time diff in results Anyhow....this was just a mention, It was still an awesome wknd and I will make a yearly outing for this one

    Kudos on great event! Will be back next year. Constructive criticism if I may: Ditch the people that did the timing. Registration was a nightmare with them and their timing system is BS to say the least. How can a bunch gun for the line only to be scanned on the line at the scanners convenience. It's a minor in the bigger scope of things but worth a mention
