    I am really impressed with your feedback and personal messages on the issues you see here. This is really good service!!!! I am a cycleops fan owning a powertap, powercal, and powerbeam so it is really good to see you guys react like this. Kudos bud!!!

    I always had this issue with my powerbeam. It has become really bad lately. As soon as gradient goes over 4% it is almost impossible to ride and the Watts drop below 120. Irritates the crap out of me. Will try using a new tyre but in future I will not buy a wheel based trainer again. If the hammer is cheaper than the kickr I might try that

    What is the total ascent for this race? Is it 108 or actually 115 like some opinions I have heard?

    They should come to Wellington and do a few segments on the black route. I am willing to bet plenty that no matter who they bring they won't beat the current record on Alp d'huez

    Very well organized event! Driving there in a hurricane Friday I was worried but we ended up having perfect weather. I will be back next year

    Well organized race! Can't ask for a better community to host an event. Plenty of water points with very friendly people. Well done on all the great changes from last year's route. I will definitely be back. Some constructive criticism: When marking the route take a cyclist along. We look differently at a route than the view from a bakkie. 90% was very well marked but in some areas the arrows was a bit misleading. Change the official distance to 66km (I actually got 67.4km). Not a big deal for me but it is rather longer than 63km and when you suffer it is a loooooong way:) Other than that you guys can give some lessons to other people organizing mtb events. Job well done!!!!!!!!!

    I have to say I enjoyed the support from the farmworkers at various places on route. Totally different to the verbal abuse we got from them about 2 years ago. What a welcome change.

    I did the 60km. Very well organized as usual with awesome new sections in the 1st 30km. I would like to give the following constructive criticism: In the last 15km odd there were few places where you had to guess which route to take. Luckily there were tracks to spot. This was only about 2 or 3 places Nothing much happened in the last 30km. Just tracks through vinyards with 1 little single track highlight around 'n koppie. I got the feeling were just taken around the valley to make up the distance. I think you can easily use the new tracks we did in the 1st 30km without deviating too much from last year's route. I found that route to be harder and more fun. Today was only about 905m of climbing according to my garmin. Think last year was more Just my 2c Still 1 of my favorites on the calendar

    Sure i get that but my point was about brand perception. I think it is a terrific bike even though i have not ridden 1. It would def be on my short list should i switch to a dual Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

    Hear good things about the silverback range lately. Do you think they would be able to shake the "cheaper brand" stigma and actually compete in the R60 000 category for a XT bike?
