  1. so is a trek remedy, and that just won bike of the year on pinkbike! nothing wrong with single pivot axle paths
  2. went for my first ride with them today, things arent looking promising, the xking seems really against holding pressure, luckily for me the dude with the needle got bored after about 15 pokes, and the bottle of the cheap rhino stans stuff i emptied into there doesn't seem to be doing its job very well the mountain king is doing fine though. grip wise they are nothing special, the xking is more grippy than the rock razor i had on there, and the mountain king seems very similar to the hans damph i was running at the front, although its much better under brakes, at least thats the impression im getting out of it, either that or the bubbles in my brakes are now the perfect size to give my slx's avid levels of modulation.
  3. hey look its a nukeproof mega!
  4. ive heard very inconsistent reviews on these contis, guess ill just have to hope they work for me as for the spez tyres, i would really really dig a butcher slaughter combo, but its either impossible or almost impossible, depending on the tyre, to get them in 26"
  5. does anyone know anything about the conti protection casing? all i really care about is that it doesnt get punctures dont tell me to "buy this schwalbe" or whatever, i already ordered them, just wondering what i bought before they arrive
  6. phew, you worded that way less offensively than I am capable of, thanks! I think when spez say that it can be used as a front tyre, they mean it will fit on a rim that is laced to a front hub, but just because you can, doesnt mean you should.
  7. make sure you have a friend with a camera nearby if you wanna do that
  8. with that many posts its not like we had much of a choice
  9. i would want one of those more than I want a sukuma or jabula, thats for sure
  10. it doesn't care what you just said.

  14. Recently got this chainguide, cant wait to test it out on the trails!
  15. which would be ok if it were literally any other rim/tyre combo.
  16. IS IT NOT SO HARD TO LINE THE TYRE WRITING UP!?!?

  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT6AteXChA4 renegade, superpower and jungle, that i can think of
  22. it might have been a one time thing, just a few times. i know youve got an intense, how are you finding it, had any frame issues? it might just be me but one of the top requirements of a bike for me is how reliable/idiot proof is it, i understand that if you take good care of your bike it will last longer and feel better, but i also want to be able to not worry about things like bearings and cracks, let alone everything else that goes wrong on bike excluding the frame, i barely have enough cash to keep up with that! i want a bike that can stand through my idiotness!
  23. I cant give the actual link to the intense http://enduro-mtb.com/en/long-term-test-bikes-2014/ but go there, click previous bikes and find the intense carbine 29, do some reading... yeah, you can count me out of anything carbon and intense.
  24. Well this is pretty http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb12539340/p5pb12539340.jpg
  25. i like that bike for the exact reason other people dont.
