Got mine this weekend. Stripped a whole lot of parts off it and now gotta build it up again. Started with upgrading SLX cranks to XT, and brakes to Avid Elixir CR. Waiting for Thomson seatpost and Easton bar + stem. Will post pics when I am done. Prices range between R 26 000.00 & R 27 500.00. Silly thing is that they come with 819 UST rims, but non UST tyres. Gobi saddle as standard is nice!

Machine wash on 'delicates' with cold water. No softener. Hang to dry inside out - NEVER tumble dry I ride in the sun, so I dont mind the sun drying my clothes...

Ok, all you clever okes: Is it possible to run Avid Elixir brakes with Shimano CL rotors? The 160 diameter rear should be OK, but the 180 Shimano front may cause a hassle because Avid runs a 185 rotor. Can I shim the caliper into place on the adaptor? Or would it be better to run the G3 rotors with 6 bolt to CL adaptors?

I dont know exactly how much things have gone up, but the prices overseas are going up as well. CRC is showing an increase on several items I have been eyeing lately.

That applies to a lot of events. But then some events are on land where you cant ride normaly. Vote with your feet/wheels and choose events carefully or race your mates whenever you ride!
