  1. Has he test ridden any of them? If he is spending that sort of money, he should ride before he buys.
  2. so, no bad apples yet? What is/was the panic all about then?

  4. The CS400 is for bike use only, the 725 can be used on and off the bike. So if you use your HRM @ gym or while running, that will influence your decision. I use the CS 400 and really like it. Its amazing all the data it captures. Not all that cheap though.
  5. JB, its called 'seat of your pants' technology. Highly advanced!
  6. Looks like he/she has quite a character. Loving the camera!
  7. This isnt the first time thier operations have been called into question...
  8. Not too sure, but have you checked things like all the bolts are properly tight. I had bad a vibration (not squeel) on a hardtail that turned out to be play in the hub. Spacers in the bolts connecting the caliper to the frame could induce a vibration. A squeel might be dust behind the pads? Not too sure - often difficult to fix.
  9. What do they look like? The M775's look like this: (and my pads wont fit your brakes) (sorry this isnt helping your problem)
  10. I have got 2 sets of pads for the M775 (2008 XT) brakes. R380.00 for 2 pairs.
  11. Its a new bike isnt it? So your cable are clean? I had no hassles with my last one (till it got stolen! ) Felt light and easy.
  12. Doesnt look like it at the moment: http://oakley.com/search/transition
  13. Wow, you guys are quick today!
  14. Oakley Jawbone?
  15. Awesome photos. Great to see some action after reading about it all morning. Will I ever do any work today? It seems that there is a lot of mud for such a 'dry' race...
  16. OMG!
  17. Montagu Gardens: Cycle Factory Store
  18. Panda Sportswear got some good reviews before the DC.
  19. Not interested in the justice system. Street justice is the way to go! Last week, Zuma said that he understood if people took the law into thier own hands. He didnt say that it was right, but he understood why.
  20. I have a mate selling a new pair of DT370's with 317 rims (28 spokes)...
  21. It depends on what hubs and spokes come with the 317's, and who built them etc. A handbuilt wheel is easier to fix if you break spokes etc. (Not sure what the 5's come with).
  22. I would love to do a survey at the Epic and see what sort of bikes are being ridden by non sponsored riders. There are a lot of guys throwing money at the problem. See how many S-Works carbon Epics are doing the rounds, for example.
  23. Wow. Lucky guy! Great photos too!
  24. Avid supporter of Mavic rims? Mavic rims are one thing, but their hubs and spokes are another story... Plenty threads here on The Hub about Mavic. The way to go is a well built custom wheelset. Chris King, Industry 9, Hope or XTR/XT hubs on Mavic 819 or Stans ZTR rims. Double butted spokes and brass nipples for durability, or DT Revolutions with coloured Alu nipples to match your hubs and skewers.

    my bike

It looks like it needs a Polar HRM handlebar mount. Your bike, not your baby...
