  1. Not sure if he has 'Master' wheel builder status, but you could try Kevin @ BMC in Woodstock.
  2. R80.00 via Sportsman's Warehouse. But it takes up 2 weeks! I have done it a few times and it always works very well.

  4. Plofstof is on top form this morning!
  5. If I change enough nappies, my wife will give my wheels back. I have had the bike for 3 weeks and havent ridden it yet. Hopefully Saturday is my day!

  11. I think you were lucky. The guy @ customs was quite adamant about the import duty of 25 or 30% I was also hoping to score a Bell Sweep, but looks like I am gonna have to bargain hunt around here.
  12. Import duty would be 25-30% + VAT + Handling, so not really worth it. Especially with the crash replacement etc.

  20. Don't be so quick to bash South Africa. Bike service in London was pretty much the same as here, just MUCH more expensive.
  21. Void, that sounds like a terrible experience. You are lucky if all you and your mates got away with was a stolen bike & phone and a cracked frame. Some of these guys just shoot. There is a cycling safety section in the forum where you can highlight areas dangerous: https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_topics.asp?FID=32
  22. Cool Something to look forward to on a Monday. And another reason to go to a bike shop at lunch time!
