  1. 29 inch bihanchi mtb for sale... It's written down the side of the bike!
  2. Looks like these guys are the agents: http://www.windtrade.co.za/ Otherwise these guys could probably point you in the right direction : https://capecoffeebeans.co.za/ (but they are in Cape Town - I am sure there are suppliers closer to you)
  3. That's a fairly broad question, but you could start window shopping here : https://localgrind.co.za Where in Cape Town are you ? I must say that I am enjoying my current bag of Deluxe, but that's nearly finished, so will get a bag of Bob's Damn Fine Coffee in Kalk Bay. Bootleggers roast their own beans and the shops are fairly well spread out. I have really enjoyed Dirk's coffee from Stellenbosch: https://www.instagram.com/balance_coffee_roastery/?hl=en And these guys in Hermanus have been a great discovery too: https://mikrocoffeeco.co.za/
  4. There isn't much stock out there at the moment. I am hoping a for a shipment to arrive at the distributer in a few weeks as I have a few items on my wish list at Evobikes.
  5. Did you get that bar tape locally as well ? I have a mate who would LOVE that tape on his bike (seeing as he isn't going to get the bars) Custom Paintjob by Bogus: https://www.instagram.com/p/BulVebRgHPY/
  6. Black matches everything and never goes out of style. Unless you go with tanwall tyres, then you need a brown saddle and bar tape. But black cages...
  7. I thought that he was doing well running down the stairs in his disco slippers, until he binned it at the door. And then heading off in anger on his bike without his helmet - his manager / coach must have loved that video!
  8. The world of coffee is a real rabbit hole - its deep and dark and never ends. Just as you start learning stuff, you realise how little you know! And that's the awesome part. But it can be intimidating and gets very expensive (like starting cycling, choosing a bike and accessories and then getting into the upgrade cycle). What is for sure, is that you walk into the shop with a very specific and limited budget and end up spending quite a bit more.
  9. That Lelit looks really nice (and compact), but I noticed that it doesn't have a standard 58mm group head. Not a problem, until you are looking for new tampers, baskets or portafilters. My mate has a Breville that comes with a terrible tamper, so his wife bought a new one which she had engraved (all very sweet), but of course it didn't fit, so they had it ground down to size and polished up again.
  10. Those are two very nice, but very different machines. Your choice depends on how you like to make your coffee: Fully manual or slightly automated? In my mind, it's a bit like choosing and ebike or a normal bike. Both get you to your destination, but perhaps with slightly different levels of effort and overall experience. I have the Rancilio Silvia and Rocky combo, so am somewhat biased. My recommendation would be to pass on the PID and rather put that money into a better grinder than your Severin. You can add the PID later, but I think that is only worthwhile if you are making more than 2 coffees at a time. I am not a big fan of grinding into a bin and then scooping the coffee out - straight into the portafilter for me! I stand to be corrected, but that Severin might not be able to get your grind fine enough for the Rancilio - I stand to be corrected. If you do go the Rancilio way, don't forget a tamping mat, knock box and 2 milk jugs... I have no experience with the Breville machine, but I have yet to hear of someone complaining about theirs. As others have mentioned, there are other options and brands but I just focused on your two choices.
  11. I think that it's just a range of saddles that Sram does not currently have on it's line-up. I had also forgotten that they had acquired Powertap a while ago, and then recently removed the products from their website: https://cyclingtips.com/2021/02/heres-what-the-disappearance-of-powertap-might-mean/
  12. That looks so awesome! Quite a bit of lycra and hardly any beards, they clearly aren't very serious groadies...
  13. That was another interesting one! Peppermint meets John Wick kind of vibe. Not bad for an Australian movie
  14. In June 2020, Hulu announced that the fourth season is planned to premiere in 2021. Production on season 4 resumed in September 2020
  15. I think that you should remove that word from your post - it's detracting from the actual incident. In case anyone is unsure, it's 'slang, derogatory, offensive, ethnic slur' according to Google and Wiki etc.
  16. I hope that you have committed fully to the flare and wide with some Salsa Cowchippers... 520 wide at the hoods and 650 at the drops. That should make up for any facial hair deficiencies... https://salsacycles.com/components/category/road_handlebars/cowchipper
  17. With ironic hipster beards, or are those reserved for craft beer drinkers and trendy baristas ? Edit: You answered my question with your pics below
  18. A ton of steel will be more aero Even with slack packing bar bags...
  19. That was quite something! Wondering if Netflix will allow the show to level up as it seems that there is a lot more to explore. Edit: Google say that Netflix has Season 2 planned - not sure of release date though
  20. You have everything but including the kitchen sink!
  21. I posted because the set includes a JIS #1 Interesting to note that the Park Tool DSD-2 is a JIS #2
  22. Neither of these bikes are skinny climbers, they are both aero AF. and there isn't a 2kg weight difference between them either. Lets not get too caught up in the marketing and stick to real world practicalities like the speeds and gradients we actually ride and whether we are bunch riders or soloists.
  23. Cranks (rings), cassettes, bars, stems, saddles and pedals can easily be changed to suite - that shouldn't really affect the choice of the bike.
