  1. I am loving the rise of the young guns and new powers. TJV has been a tropical storm brewing offshore for quite a while, and now it's unleashing all it's force and power with devastating effect. Great to watch! Team Ineos has lost its puff after a very impressive run of GT victories and I am enjoying the change of scenery. Watching MvdP win yesterday, I wonder if/when he will ever ride The Tour and what his performance will be like. He needs a team around him though - The Tour can't be won as a solo rider. That brings me to The Pog I am loving his style - perhaps he will prove my previous point wrong.
  2. Only slightly cheaper than YuppieChef: https://capecoffeebeans.co.za/products/aeropress-go-coffee-maker?variant=31386132152454

  4. Bootleggers at the top of Tokai has become a hot spot. Locked bikes are being stolen off the back of cars and bakkies while people have their post ride coffee. Keep your bike close to you and within eyesight.
  5. Everyone's undercarriage is different, so taking advice from someone else may not work for you. Trying saddles out could be an expensive 'trial and error' exercise. I was convinced that a Fizik Antares was the saddle for me, but was proved very wrong when I did the pressure mapping thing at The Gear Change. Its so much more in depth than just measuring your sit bone width. As you rotate forward onto your TT bars, you will be applying pressure very differently to sitting up on the flats. The saddle I have now is the same width as the Antares, but has a cutout that allows me much better hip rotation with much less pressure where I don't want it. 'Breaking the Bank' is all relative, and you can recover from that. Damaging your Tjommie is a different story...
  6. I have a spacer that looks like the one in the Sigma Sports link. It looks like 2mm thick except for the grooves, which is 1mm. Where are you based ?
  7. It's a great movie that you can watch repeatedly over the years. It's always funny and doesn't seem to age
  8. Depends what your budget is Your choices may also be decided by what's in stock - this Covid thing has affected imports. A dual head system wouldn't make any big improvements, unless it included a dual boiler. I have the Racilio Silvia and Rocky combo, which has worked OK for me. 6 cups a day - 2 at a time. If I could pimp it, I would get a PID installed. If I could redo with a bigger budget, I would get a heat exchange system, but a dual boiler would be better. If I could, I would get a grinder with a timer or a scale built in. One that is quieter than the Rocky would be great. I can't comment on the other options you list. This set-up looks pretty good: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/115676-coffee-machine/page-394?do=findComment&comment=3700592
  9. Amazing! Love it That clip needs some music though
  10. they go home
  11. Ja. It was OK. Not gripping, but not bad either. Based on the movie (obviously), but more stretched out. The standard formula of a new case each week, with the main story unfolding in the background and some character development taking place along the way.
  12. Also keen to know more about this one
  13. also missed it
  14. There might also be some inappropriate touching and possibly some dry humping too
  15. Some more options and opinions here: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/186305-tools-on-the-bike-options/ https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/186196-new-road-bike-kit-tyres-saddle-bag/ Road vs Mountain may also influence your choices. Also depends on what you want to carry. Tube & Bomb or Kitchen Sink ?
  16. That's another thumbs up from me - That Holy Roller is amazing! Need to order another batch in a week or two.
  17. Is that a Tommasini ?
  18. Looks What wheels are they ? Cant make it out in the pic. Tell how what they feel like compared to original wheels
  19. Let us know how long that lasts
  20. All valid points, but those European mountain descents caused many blown tubes, burnt pads or delaminated rims on caliper brake bikes. Granted, it was carbon rims that caused much of that drama...
  21. I hope my posts didn't come across as sarcastic, or with tone and attitude. I wrote my short review to formulate and process my thoughts - that series had me thinking for quite a while afterwards.
  22. I don't like it when a season ends like that - especially when there is a HUGE gap to the next season.
  23. I gave a short summary here - more for my own benefit, I think https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/127214-what-tv-shows-are-you-watching/page-346?do=findComment&comment=3641794
