  1. Go with hope and spank. If the DT hubs give any sort of trouble you might not find spares. Hopes are easy and basic to fix. Just get those banjo spokes fixed then they should be good
  2. well the line isn't finished yet so we actually need more help cleaning, repairing and building
  3. I will when i'm at the pc again
  4. will get better pics next time and actually charge the go pro before we go

  9. Sorry for spelling mistakes, on mobile so can't fix it now
  10. Groupset is very much personal prefrence. Personaly I prefer the solid click ok XTR over XO. As for brakes, shimano is very reliable so I'd go with that. Fox or roch shox, mmm... Once again personal choice, fox is high maintainance but is great, if and only if it's set up right, if you've got messed up settings it doesn't feel good.
  11. You mean High rollers
  12. +1, I'm running the 2.25 advantage (rear) paired up with a 2.35 minion (front)
  13. Or even a Maxxis High roller 2.35 in LUST?
  14. Yea i run them front and back and they roll pretty nice. They do look a bit skinny , more like a 2.1 than a 2.25. Yes the do wear quickly if you skidd like mad but under normal riding conditions the are fine
  15. What about the maxxis Ardent 2.25 or 2.4? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2109/2532161299_9360d20b72_o.jpg
  16. How much is the course?
  17. He is still doing it
  18. if it were my decision i'd save up and go for ztr or dt on hopes, buy the right wheelset now to save yourself later on.
  19. mmm..... they might be a bit heavy at a claimed weight of 2120g. Depends on how much climbing you do?
  20. @ pain or shine, the rims are still for sale, the wheelset will be broken down to be able to get a lighter build, the plan was to sell the spikes and get lighter rims. The rims only are still forsale or the whole wheelset, which ever you prefer. The iscg adapter I got with a chainguide I bought. I haven't seen them localy
  21. hey, yep its those rims that are up for sale. the pic of the rims is just a pic i had of them before they got built . hahaha glad to hear that somebody is interested in them . mmm..... the chainguide is a bit noisy actually but the new lg1 is way quieter. It is a bit of a hassle to get it set up on this frame, i had to grind the bolts and the iscg adapter to get it to fit properly but the chainline is now a bit out so if you ride in the lower gears a lot the chain wears faster than normal . I find that its a small price to pay though
  22. my reign, weighing in at 14.4kg without the reverb
  23. as far as I know , you have to buy the whole crown assembly which is not cheap. R2,5k or so
  24. or hit a torx key into the allen hole
