  1. Anybody got a job for me down in the Western Cape so I can have this on my doorstep..?
  2. Agreed, very good show.
  3. I've heard good things about this place from a few sources. Must go check it out.
  4. How can you call yourself a cyclist if you forget to take your bike places..? The only reason to go places is to ride bikes somewhere new...
  5. It's interesting how they calculate the data for points. Wednesday morning I did a 20+km commute to the office and got 100 points, which I'd expect. That afternoon, I rode straight home instead of extending, which is only about 8.5km, but, when I got home, I accidentally paused my watch instead of ending the activity. Took the watch off and put it aside and only looked a few hours later, and then ended the paused activity. Yesterday I noticed I had gotten 600 points for that activity, obviously because it went over 3 hours. Quite an easy flaw to manipulate...
  6. Pretty similar to shakshuka. Mugg & Bean serve one if you don't want to make it, though theirs has boerewors in it and I am not too keen on that so rather make it myself.
  7. Wow, auto-correct got you REALLY badly on this post... I'm going to read between the lines and assume it was supposed to read: "7 wouldn't be enough for me, thinking of buying another road bike AND a hybrid, and selling the running shoes"
  8. Hopefully you get the all clear.
  9. Vitality says if you are a member of the Endurance and High Performance you have to renew at the beginning of each year, but I see it says I still have the status. Does this mean I don't have to do anything to maintain this in 2018 (besides the fitness requirements obviously), or is it on the anniversary date I moved to Endurance and High Performance?
  10. I'm off to a decent start...second day in the office, and second day of commuting...
  11. I hope you won't recognise the taste..? haha
  12. I'm always especially grateful when a truck or bus gives me space. I'll try wave thanks if possible, but also like to try remember the company and registration (or at least part of it) and then contact the company and tell them too - hopefully it gets back to the drivers and spreads.
  13. Good for keeping the pets away from it too...
  14. How is it that people can constantly achieve their goals? I don’t check it all the time but I realized I wasn’t getting my active rewards and when I looked earlier today it shows all the activities but says the limits are reached (this includes a ride of over 3 hours yesterday- it shows the 600 points, but I just can’t get more?)
  15. The space clouds stood out for me more.
  16. Never used one, but according to this it is, "Ideal for braaing marinated, sticky or delicate food like sosaties, ribs and fish, as well as smaller, fiddly food like vegetables"
  17. For those of us at work...
  18. Will keep an eye a nose out for the wet dog smell in future. Haven't been to Waterfall, but Mall Of Africa also isn't bad. Though you'd have to be insane to go there now... The fishmonger is very good there.
  19. Not sure about a standalone butcher, but the Checkers at Kyalami Corner is quite good.
  20. I always stay in Gauteng over this time. Normally take the days between Christmas and New Year off and stay at home, but this year I've opted to work next week.
  21. Looks like he's have a whale of a time...
