Fully agree here John , I have just finished reading Jens Voigt's book and he speaks very highly of Riis as a team owner and DS . Certainly he has a way of extracting the best out of his riders . Clean or not ???? Time will tell .

Firstly , going back to page 1 and the video of what happened . Under NO circumstances can the rangers actions be justified , regardless of whether Nic had a permit or not , or even if choice language was exchanged . Secondly , I may have missed it , but has Nic ever put out a statement with his version of events ? We know initially the rangers had a BS story about him breaking his own arm , but they did comment . Has Nic ?? If he hasn't , do we take his silence as "Don't speak to me , speak to my lawyer " . If he has ( sorry I missed it ) what was his version ?? Regardless , I hope he heals up quick and can still achieve his goals for the year .

I have a set of Prime wheels (28mm) . I absolutely love them . They are my training wheels so get used a lot . Now that CRC are no longer using Skynet , these wheels are well worth bringing in . I have the staright pull spokes on the upgraded hub . Was about 1K more for that option . Total landed here with all duties was about 10K .

I have been following this from the start . Firstly , glad the OP is finally getting back to riding . Secondly , thanks to BogusOne and Carbon Ninja for some very enlightening info regards carbon repairs . Seems like the 2 of you really know your story .

A while back a load of tar was dumped on part of our route . 2 guys from our group went there one Friday afternoon with a pick , spade , fork and broom and removed the said obstacle . I think concrete may not be quite as easy to remove , and also depending how much there is .
