  1. You will have to de link it from ur discovery and garmin connect and then re connect and re connect to discovery on her name .
  2. Get some jawbreakers with prizm lens and have a nice long ride with those. I guarantee you will never want to use anything else again.
  3. This????????, exactly right . Stock avaliable always, and a customer experience. Even the "mega stores" these days have a terrible stock holding and almost no range
  4. Unfortunately the more I look into this industry , the more the concept store makes sense. The distributors in this industry seem pretty useless in terms of bringing in stock , shops struggle to get stock and if they don't have huge capital, they miss out on stock, and then later in the year there is none left. Service in stores can vary hugely with private stores. With the concept idea , the whole importing, store feel, level of service and stock offering can be raised , and also profits can be better if done correctly , rather than a importer trying to rip a store off and then the store doing the same to the consumer. I'm sure more brands will go this way, and I for 1 am keen to see where it leads.
  5. They won't care, injuries and illness are treated out of your savings. It's chronic ill health that gets them, and this will help that .
  6. Because you can use 1 Bryton and upload the same file to 20 different peoples strava profiles, that would download to Health and they would all get points. So they have to block strava
  7. Exactly that, just watch out , when you sweat the Apple Watch becomes almost useless at reading Hr , you will read 54 Bpm while killing yourself sometimes , so keep an eye on that.
  8. If you use a garmin and load to strava it will show Hr , but to record Hr through strava you have to have strava premium .
  9. It's not about the rewards for me and as I have said , anyone doing a reasonable amount of training will still hit targets. However , when choosing a company to invest in for my families health , I would prefer to not do business with a company that suckers people in and then moves the goal posts in such a dramatic fashion. Agree a more tiered approach would be acceptable. To more than double the required time/effort factor is strange.
  10. With the apps and technology avaliable today, the only really acceptable period I would wait is 30 min. Then it goes to someone willing to pay. When selling my CTCT entry at face value , I had a call and payment reflecting on my account inside 2 minutes of posting the add.
  11. Transactions don't take place through the hub , so you can't make it mandatory to rate a seller . Else everyone would have to rate everyone for nothing
  12. it is still achievable , especially for cyclists. However , to sucker people in at such an easy target and then more than double the effective workout time needed to achieve a certain points target is outrageous . The whole reason I chose to get onboard was because there stipulated agreement was achievable. You have to look at it from a 12 month cycle , with winter, illness, and holidays too. People are bound to be sick for a few days but could still earn there points. Now if you fall sick , you are pretty screwed and will be paying .
  13. These dishonest bastards. They have truly stepped up there game here. 90+ min at 80% for 300 points.this is gonna get interesting
  14. I make an effort to comment on all ads that say brand new , ridden twice. WTF, it's a typical human thing , when oaks buy they want the bottom dollar price but when selling, "down hill MtB S Works , Minaar special edition , only ever ridden twice on tar with cushions on wheels" the amount of moronic adds in th classifieds can be laughable. Always amazed how many bikes were baught early this year , never ridden, and they want a grand off full retail.
  15. My worst is guy calls says he wants the item and he will collect it with cash. Deal is done, no mention of negotiation. Then arrives at you 2 days later after you have told other full price customers the item is sold, and NOW he wants to bargain a deal. Kick to the balls is deserved in this case I think
  16. ive heard it's illegal to carry pepper spray in SA. Anybody have any real idea on this?
  17. I'm a member of CL and have done a few group rides with them , I ride in the slower groups and have actually chosen to no longer participate as I can't ride for 3 hours listening to a very annoying female voice shouting "2 abreast please ,2 abreast". So I have to say the slower groups are constantly marshaled and I doubt cause an issue like this in the cradle. I just chose to no longer ride with them. However , my faster mates have told me there isn't much marshaling going on in the A groups and the guys kinda do as they please
  18. Ya just reading this thread made me go out and buy a Spuik Dharma , incredible helmet, by the looks of things but will give a better review after the test tomorrow .
  19. Have wanted to go SRAM for a while, this looks incredible. But at the price it's hard to justify.
  20. Have heard every 2 years thrown about on here before , but I recon if it hasn't been bumped , I use one for 5 years
  21. I agree , I like Cav , but I don't think he can beat Kittel or that Aussie youngster , I forget his name. However, none of them will even come close to Cavs records or medals, not even close. Cav was untouchable for many years .
  22. Great news. I think we will be seeing a few good African riders over the next couple of years
  23. The pros are nailed for test all the time , increased test will aid in recovery and lean muscle gain which helps, also the short estered testosterones are believed to retain less water and could also easily be stopped a few short weeks before competition and not be picked up. Test also increases red blood cell count, which is great for endurance.
